My son has been going to this school since kindergarten and just finished second grade. He was in the high achievers/gifted class in second grade and will continue in the program in third grade. This school is absolutely incredible, and he is very happy here. He scored in the 99th percentile in math and in the 94th percentile in reading on his second-grade STAR testing. The teachers during his first three years here have all been tremendous. Mrs. Aaron, who teaches second grade, has been his favorite so far. Consider yourself lucky if your child gets to attend this fantastic school for six years of elementary school.

my son had great teachers every year since he started in kindergarten. everyone is super helpful. he has an IEP and is thriving.

I completely agree with the last review. They blame your kid and do not take responsibility. My child is also doing well in a private school, socially and academically. Not sure what the hype is about at Embassy Creek.

Writing a review a year later becasue i want to share my experience, now we moved to a private school and it's the best decision ever, my child is now thriving and happy and above grade level on learnings.

back to a year ago, I had high hopes for embassy creek school at the start of the year, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. While the facilities are nice, the staff, from the front desk to the school counselor and especially our Kindergarten teacher, seemed disinterested and unfit to handle the mental and emotional needs of growing children. Our teacher often complained about having to manage her class of 20, saying things like "see what I have to deal with every day," and made it clear that any child who was slightly different was seen as a burden. This lack of enthusiasm rubbed off on the kids, fostering a negative, passive environment.

My child struggled with this teacher and faced verbal criticism in front of the entire class, which is incredibly damaging for a 5-year-old who was initially excited about school. I learned it from other parents and kids telling me what the teacher say in front of the class. When my child started standing up for himself, the school counselor gaslighted me, implying that my child was the issue and suggesting I cut down his school hours, is this even legal? When I refused, they made my life difficult with constant calls and demands to pick up my child early. the front desk is very rude too. i eventually reported to the district and the school completed changed attitude towards me, wow, it was like apologizing, but the damage is done, a kid's self esteem should be protected at all cost.

On top of this, the teaching style was rigid and uninspired. my child couldn't read by the end of the kinder, and the teachers final reports were harsh and unhelpful, before that she has never contacted me about the learning issues. guess what? now we are in private school for just two months, he is above grade level and doing 2nd grade math and reading. the change is night and day. I regret not leaving earlier and let the school gaslight me.

This is the best school in south Florida not only focuses on academics but extra curricular activities, special, foreign languages, etc.

Terrible experience. Put my kid in private school because of the principal and guidance counselor. Gives public schools a bad name!

Fantastic school! Both of my kids are currently students at ECE (K and 2nd grade) and love it there. The teachers are great and I'm constantly surprised by how much my kids are learning there.

I had my son at Embassy from K thru 6th grade, he is now in all advanced classes and doing amazing. Great foundation!
