My children attend PRE for three years. Being in a heavy populated military area, they were always ready to support the children as required with emotional and mental support. Their ESE programs were so helpful for my child as he was challenged and grew so much. We are very happy with Ms. Reaser, Ms. Downs, Ms. Deja and Ms. Allred! They made a great team for our son. Would highly recommend this school for children for need special education needs. Thank you PRE for three wonderful years!

I have two kids, one in VPK program and one in kindergarten. Both have had wonderful experiences and support from their teacher. They love how each lesson is catered to keeping them engaged and very interactive. Both are excited to share about their school day and they friends and tasks they've accomplished. The school has such a positive atmosphere it makes me feel welcomed and safe. There is not a huge list of what the school expects from parents when it comes to homework as opposed to other schools. This gives me more opportunity to teach them what I want to teach them at home and keep lessons more fun than about the academics especially at such a young age!
We are also a military family and my kindergartener LOVES his military counselor Ms. Nicole and looks forward to seeing her every week where they get to see other military children.

Having a terrible experience with my daughter's current teacher and principal. Trying to get my daughter the additional help she needs is proven to be extremely difficult. It has been stated several times that the teacher and her teaching style is not a good fit for my daughter, but the principal refuses to help with that. (We have never had so many problems with a teacher) That being said, this same teacher is the one that would be providing the additional help. It is also a constant struggle to even get her books sent home with the lessons for the week so that we may study and review. The principal chalks it up to human error on the teachers part. The principal really likes to use the crutch that the books are online, but that is not convenient for everyone, especially when you don't have a computer/laptop (which has been stated). I would think a school with below average student progress would have more determination to help these students who need extra help to succeed.

Pea Ridge is an outstanding school! As a military family we always worry about what the schools are "really" like and were very happy with our choice. My son went to Pea Ridge for 3 years and loved it. The school does an excellent job of keeping parents informed, giving the kids the personnel attention they need and challenging kids appropriately. We were sad to be transferred out and now find ourselves comparing other schools to Pea Ridge. We moved into one of the best school districts in Chesapeake, VA and my son was well ahead of his peers. If we're lucky enough to move back to Pace we'll move into Pea Ridge's school district for my younger child.

I absolutely love Pea Ridge Elementary. I have two kids attending this school and they love it. The staff is incredible and keep the parents involved in the day to day activities. If the kids need extra help they are more than happy to provide it. Tons of activities to help the kids learn and grow. I would recommend this school to everyone.

The assistant principle said because my daughter is kind and sweet that she was the problem and that because she was sweet she would be subjected to bullying anywhere. So your seriously telling me my child the victim is the problem and not the bully themselves. The girl never got in trouble. I have removed my daughter out of that school and put her in a private school. This school is wrong and the principle and the staff are sick human beings. How dare you blame my daughter for being bullied and not doing anything about it.

As a grandparent of 2 students who attended Pea Ridge for two years, I was very disappointed in the school as a whole. I felt that the staff was not attuned to the needs of the students. My grandson was identified as gifted two weeks into the year at his new school (also a public school in the area). His parents had been told, while he was at Pea Ridge, that he did not qualify. My granddaughter was never sufficiently challenged in her school work while at Pea Ridge. The school does not have a good handle on discipline. The discipline is either "jail like" or not there at all, no happy medium.

My daughter had her arm broken by a fellow student and the faculty, staff, & administration covered it up. The principal is not a strong leader - she rules with fear and intimidation. The teachers tend to be lazy and stop teaching after the FCAT. My children often complained of being bored (both made straight A's without really trying). I was extremely disappointed with our experience there. We have since transferred to Bennet Russell Elementary and we are much happier; however, as a military family, I will be glad when it is time to leave this duty station and my children will have better options for school.

The Principal and Assistant Principal are great! Very involved in the student's education, progression, and behaviors. Very well ket school thatfocuses highly in student success. I worked at this school and even from the inside i can say it was a great school. Rated top A for years. Behavior issues very minimal. Excellent PTA where parents are free to be involved. Great teachers who care about learning and teaching with the goal of seeing students steadily improve in their academics.
