Sending 2weeks of homework home to be done over those two weeks then sent back on a certain date to me is not effective teaching and being sent home a homework calendar for the month. I should just home school. Pretty much what I am doing now.
Posted: September 4, 2019
I get sent photos and videos every week sometimes daily and it is clearly obvious who the teacher pays attention too and who she does not

My child gets punched or hit or papers taken from her buy a particular student on daily basis. Moving their seat daily is not effective in changing that childs school behavior
Posted: September 4, 2019
The principal could not even tell me how to change my child from car rider to bus rider
Posted: September 4, 2019
I have no knowledge on how they work or help these students
Posted: September 4, 2019
When same student hits or punches or torments students daily and nothing done other than seat change there is a problem

I dislike this school. I will try my hardest to get my child in a better school next year.

My two sons have attended Rhodes all the way up to 5th grade. The school went through a principal change and the new administration is fantastic! I have loved all of their teachers and all of the great parent nights that they have. It ha been a warm friendly place any time I have been there and my kids love it!

We've had nothing but great experiences since my son started school at Rhodes! He's on the honor roll and is even an advanced student in many subjects. We've loved every teacher he has had, and love attending all the school functions!!! Glad to be a parent of a Panthers Jr student!

We moved and transferred my kids here which was a big mistake because this school is horrible!!! Note, my kids were some of the most well behaved kids at their other school less than 3 months ago. I tried to get my daughter out of the class she was in due to being picked apart by the teacher and the staff does nothing to help. The teacher puts her with some tutor instead of actually trying to teach her. All they do is make cookie cutter excuses why they won't move her to another teacher. Not only will they not move her they want to put her on pills to calm her down!?!? My daughter gets hurt by other students and they don't even call me!!! I made the choice to put in a transfer that was denied and will be trying very hard everyday FOR THE REST OF TIME to get her into her into another school before her outlook changes for the worse even more!!! She screams everyday to me about going to that school! Stay away from this school!!!

My child flourished at Rhodes! The teachers and staff were professional, dedicated, and always treated us with respect. My son is proud to have been a Junior Panther!

I do not like this school. My children atteneded this school from 1999 to 2001. I do not feel the teachers teach very well and the guidance office personel were awful. Do not let your children attend this school. There are other options like virtual school if you can use someone elses address and have your child dropped off and pick them up at that address. Like my husband went to pace high in a milton disrtrict. HIs mother used his grandmothers address and picked him up after school. I pulled my older kids and they went to bagdad on my mothere in laws area and I picked them up there. Just a thought. My other children go to Bennett Rusell I love this school and EVERYONE there!

I have a child at this school and I have made my mind up that after all the problems I have had, I will do whatever I can to place my child in another school. There are some teacher that just want to preach the children need to be on drugs and I would love to when these teachers got there Doctor's Degree.

Kids are not taught to attone for their actions. My son was deliberately injured by another student and was made to feel it was his fault by the staff at this school. I ended up paying for his medical bills ($3K worth) bc the school wouldn't help out. Their are good teachers here but they focus on the state tests in the spring. The principle is approachable but reminds me of a chamelon in his mannerisms. I have had 2 graduate from here and one currently enrolled. Unfortunately I can't have him transfered bc of where we live. Teachers are somewhat "selective' on which student they like and treat them accordingly.
