This is our third year at St. Raphaels, and we honestly couldnt be happier. We transferred in during elementary school and were immediately welcomed with open arms. The sense of community here is amazing. Families are involved because they want to be, not because they have to.
Our kids are excited to go to school every day, which says everything. They know almost every student, and the staff knows them (and us!) by name. Its clear they care about each child as a person, not just a student.
The teachers have been wonderful, and academics are strong. Annual test scores are always above the diocesan average. The school has also invested in security, which is sadly necessary these days, but very reassuring.
I love that its one school from VPK through 8th grade, so theres no big, stressful transition in middle school. The waterfront campus is beautiful, and there are so many extras for my kids like choir, theater, clubs, sports - you name it.
They also take a smart, balanced approach to technology: no phones or smartwatches during the day, teaching real-life skills like typing and Microsoft Office, and even reading The Anxious Generation as a staff.
Like anything in life, you get out what you put in. As parents, we've made the choice to get involved by volunteering our time and partnering with the school to support positive growth. We do it because we truly love the community and want the best for its future.

We are very happy. We moved our children to St Rapheals. The whole school is very welcoming and the quality of education is very good.

We were very excited to start St. Raphael's. On the 1st day we got there all the teachers looked miserable. No one was smiling. It almost seemed like they didn't want to be there. No one welcomed us. It didn't have a family feel. I would look around if that's what you're looking for.

My name is Mary Jo Baras. Im a docent at The Florida Holocaust Museum for the past 12 years. Today I had a group of 5th graders that stood out from all groups of the past The students not only came prepared but had an eagerness to learn more. Their level of empathy was reflective of their teachers and home life. As a Catholic I would want my grandchildren to attend this school if this class of 5th graders reflects the whole school. Im sure it does

We are a long time St. Raphael family and all our children had a great experience there! We loved the teachers, staff, the sense of family and the faith filled environment. Our children were well prepared academically and socially for high school. Thank you St. Raphaels!

My child is now in his second year at this school and we could not be happier! My child is academically challenged in a nurturing and safe environment. What more could you ask for? I love that all the teacher's and parents know my child. The community is wonderful - comprised of many families all having the same interest in raising children with good family morals/values. If you are looking for a great small school in a safe and beautiful environment that will academically challenge your child, as well as, providing them with the feel of a 'second family' then you should definitely give this school a look.
