Our family switched over from a charter school to Potential due to a rough experience we had in their previous school. My oldest son was miserable in school and grades were declining drastically while my youngest was falling behind with reading and writing. We made the change and enrolled them in PCA. Best decision we have ever made. They have both soared academically and emotionally. The teachers and administrations are truly some of the greatest human beings around. They have worked so hard with our kids and encourage our kids to do better in everything that they do. It's a small community that does big things in all. As a parent raising kids in today's day and age is tough and I cannot be anymore grateful for their help and support through out. I encourage all to consider this school while looking for a good private school.

I went to this school growing up and now with my family there I truly appreciate all the effort that goes into running the program. Teachers are very qualified and couldn't be any happier.
Posted: July 25, 2019
So far through Pre-K to First Grade the homework load seems to be a good mixture for my young ones with there being enough to keep them engaged at home without overwhelming.

Each teacher we've had has had their own strengths some being helping them develop more socially and spiritually with others very strong academically. This provides a great balance for what we are looking for in a Christian school.

Mrs. Osman has been amazing from the start and we couldn't be any happier with the service we've received.

We have had only one instance that could be considered bullying although it was very minor and it was handled swiftly and effectively.

Terrible. If you don't want your child to fall behind developmentally, have their brain rotted by TV ALL DAY LONG, and to have immature and inexperienced babysitters watching them I would not go here.
Posted: May 9, 2019
My child was in K1 so there was no homework.
Posted: May 9, 2019
The TV in K1 is on ALL THE TIME and is used as a babysitter. They don't encourage age appropriate activities and lack common sense. They leave their coffee cups, acrylic paint, open glue and heavy bins within reach of the kids. They have poor communication skills and don't fill out the take home accurately so you are left not knowing what happened at school each day.
Posted: May 9, 2019
These qualities were not modeled by the K1 teachers so i'd have to say no.
Posted: May 9, 2019
Complain all you want. They will listen attentively and then do absolutely nothing.

There was a violent child hitting teachers and students for weeks before I found out. He was still enrolled when we left. The school will do anything to keep tuition coming in.

Just enough homework to study with and thats it !
Posted: March 4, 2019
Kind and loving with rules for the kids to stay on track.
Posted: March 4, 2019
Bible based and a love for the Lord .
Posted: March 4, 2019
Ms. Robinson does an amazing job of keeping things on track !
Posted: March 4, 2019
Theres always help where its needed for each child.
Posted: March 4, 2019
Not tolerated! Its addressed immediately and a plans put in place .

The love and passion Ive received is like none other !

No leadership full of.bullies and kids cannot develop Christian leadership.
Posted: November 18, 2018
If your child has any learning disabilities they do not accept them
Posted: November 18, 2018
I had to take my son out of school because teachers and administrative staff did not do anything to protect my child nor discipline the bullies
Posted: November 18, 2018
No homework and not in a positive way, kids cannot practice what they learn at home
Posted: November 18, 2018
Teachers are change constantly even if it's in the middle of the school year. Teachers come and go all the time and kids fall behind.
Posted: November 18, 2018
These school has not strong anti bully codes and they do not enforce it. If your child is bullied they prefer you to take your child out of school than dealing with the bullies.
Posted: November 18, 2018
If your love your child and want a school that offer them equal opportunity and protect them from bullies and have a good security system, this is not it.

The teachers change yearly, so that should be an indication that something is wrong.

Parents have informed me that children dealing with transgender issues where teased by themselves and other children.
Posted: August 9, 2018
The leadership at the school is okay as long as you spend all your time at the school volunteering.
Posted: August 9, 2018
A student in my daughter's class with a learning disabilities did not return to the school because she had dyslexia.
Posted: August 9, 2018
I was told about transgender bullying and gay bashing.
Posted: August 9, 2018
Homework is given and collected, nothing extraordinary about it.
Posted: August 9, 2018
The quality of the school has declined, the class sizes have increased, teachers come and go yearly. Staff and Volunteer's children are always the main characters in plays, and shows. The Athletic Director's sons get MVP of all sports they participate in.

I have been a student at this school for over 10 years and it has been an unforgettable experience. The athletics program at this school is awesome, and the teachers are top notch. You really feel like you are a part of a family at PCA.

My kids have attended PCA since K2 and we love it! They're happy, healthy, caring, well adjusted kids that treat all of the people that surround them with compassion and respect. All of their friends are like that. The teachers are AWSOME in every single aspect. They're caring, loving and focused in teaching great academics to the kids, always keeping Faith as their main tool. Our Head Principal has just been here for a year or so and she's proved to be a wonderful leader. I can't say enough good things about this school. We consider and treat each other like family.
If you want your kid to be treated as a person instead of just a number on a list, this is the school for you.

I can't really say enough good things about this school. We enrolled my son, Liam for K2 and it has been more than I imagined. He was truly blessed with amazing teachers this year who love him and care for him. Aside from his regular teachers, it's great walking into a school and know that everyone you come in contact with knows your child by name. He has learned so much this year and loves his teachers. I never thought that Private school was going to be an option but it is worth the sacrifice. The teachers, faculty and staff at Potential are the absolute best!

I would just like to address the previous review. I currently have 3 children enrolled at Potential Christian Academy. My family has been at this AMAZING school since 2008. In the past years I have never, not once, witnessed any inappropriate behavior from any faculty member. The faculty and administartion have done nothing but shower my children with love and given them a strong foundation in their faith. This school and church has been such a blessing to me and my family. Walking through those doors every morning is like walking into home.

I just moved in town and quickly became a part of Potential Church. Once I found out they had a school attached my children were enrolled. I have been nothing but impressed with the staff and children that attend this school. Everyone has a smile on their face and a true feeling of family and love is felt daily. The administration is friendly and very professional. Christ shines through the staff and kids. Security is high and front office is very pleasant and well informed. The academics are very important in my family, and the learning coming from this school blows me away. Highly Recommend this school to EVERYONE!!!!

I am so happy with this school. My child has been attending this school since she was in preschool. She is currently in 4th grade and reads and comprehends at a 8th grade level, her test scores are literally off the charts and she is a beautiful well adjusted 4th grader. The teachers love the children and love teaching and that passion is absorbed by the students. PCA is a wonderful school to come to everyday. My little girl loves to come to school and her dad and I couldn't be happier with the academics. We love that Christ is at the center of everything and the staff and students are all striving to be all that God has created them and called them to be.

I would not recommend this school to nobody, because of the lack of learning and favor picks with students. Some of the teachers don't know what they are doing. And the office is always covering up for the teachers, and the school only cares about is only MONEY out of the parents pockets. I DON'T LIKE THE TEACHING IN THAT SCHOOL AT ALL. KEEP YOUR CHILD AWAY!!!!

I absolutely have been blessed by PCA. The teachers and administration have a heart that beats for the Lord and they shine into the lives of my sons each day. Academics is very high and the school committed to helping students and families reach their God potential! PCA is our home and we are blessed!!

Potential Christian Academy is an excellent school! My kids have been here since 2008. I am blown away by how this school loves on our children on a daily basis. Our teachers and staff are like no other. We are truly blessed to be a part of an extraordinary school. Our academics and our Accelerated Reading programs are superb! I love this school and highly recommend it!

This school is AMAZING! Our son started in the baby room at 18 months (K1) and continued through K4. We would have continued with PCA but we moved out of state. We always knew our son was in a kind, loving, fun learning environment. Each teacher our son had treated him like they were his Auntie. They truly love their students. The school does a ton of fun activities for the kids every week and especially great at the holidays. The entire faculty from leadership to teachers and coaches are absolutely phenomenal. If you want your child to thrive in confidence this is the school for you. As a very picky Mom I can whole -heartedly say that both my husband and I would HIGHLY recommend this school to any parent without hesitation. We are so thankful this is where our son got his start.

Flamingo Road Christian Academy is like being in a small town school with all the tools and technology that a large school provides.
