This was a great school. Kids are some of the nicest you will come across in high school. Students are held accountable for their own success and have no reason to not succeed. There are high expectations as it is a magnet school and certain GPA requirements are required. There is some lack of after school activities (due to it being a magnet); however, there were numerous sports and other clubs to partake in. Lunch was great at start but became above average (which most normal high school lunch is almost inedible). Teachers really care for student success. One of the best schools (if not the best) in Broward County.

I really like the teachers. I hate the hours and that would be the only consideration of leaving the school along with the fact that there is no traditional high school experience. No football, No baseball, No band, No Cheer team, No Drama, No prom or other dances. Really no clubs at all. My son has to get up by 4:30 am to catch bus by 5:30 am. School starts at 7am and ends at 2:45. We live east by beach and the bus drive is 45 plus minutes both ways. My son has sufferred from sleep depreviation. The classes are HIGH achieving. My son absolutely loves his teachers. He came here specifically to learn Algebra 2 from Ms. Barbu ( sister of Principal, from what I am told) she has the highest math scores in the state according to our sons research on teachers ( yes, I taught my kids how to search Fl Doe etc) she is an amazing teacher. The speech and debate teacher Ms. Friedman another kind teacher that truly cares about the students. The school outside and inside from my opinion is institutional and a little depressing but only until you get to the upper grade level classrooms are cool and very college like setting. No bells as every student just goes to class. My only wish is that this school had dances and football etc. I hate that my son is missing out on those memories BUT the academic career he is getting here is ABOVE average in the state and this school is in top 5 High schools in Broward County.

I’ve had a lovely experience with this school and am proud to be apart of its first graduating class. This school has provided each and every student with so much and I am so grateful! My friends at an expensive private school doesn’t receive supplies, classrooms, activities, or education as high in quality as mine. They have provided us with laptops and other technologies to make our education and classes as advanced and accessible as possible. No more heavy books all the time when they are online. The teachers are the best I’ve ever had, always so kind and patient in regards to ensuring the students fully grasp each concept. They even make themselves available most hours of the day through email or text to assist us. The faculty listens to each and every question or suggestion and responds promptly. The student body is very nice, approachable, and unproblematic. This school has grown vastly and is well on its way to becoming one of the best in the district. On top of everything, you graduate with a certification in the career area of your choice. I highly recommend this school!

This is a wonderful school that offers its students a wide variety of classes in technology, culinary, nursing, cosmetology, etc. Administration, guidance counselors and teachers are readily available for students to meet with them. Tutoring is available at no cost for students that need the extra help. I feel the teachers here do an amazing job preparing our students for college.

Love the small class sizes at the school. Each student is known by the teachers and faculty. The PE classes offered are not the typical PE classes at most high schools. The sophomore PE class the students get to experience such things as golf, kayaking, tennis and bowling. Each month the school sends out a newsletter via email to all parents keeping them informed of all that is going on with the students and in the school. Principal Boegli is involved with the students. He eats lunch with the them and asks for their suggestions to improve their school life at STHS. An example is the food truck that the school has for the students. The students were looking for something more then the usual school lunch and Mr Boegli listened and put it into place. It is a huge success with the students

I love that this is a small school. It gives the teachers and staff members the opportunity to provide individualized attention to each student. I have, on more than one occasion, received a phone call from the office just to check in to see if everything is ok. My daughter had health issues this year, and the STHS team went over and above to ensure she had the tools to keep up with her classmates, and stay on her AP track. LOVE LOVE LOVE this school!!

I love this new high school! It's small, safe, has a professional and friendly staff, and a rigorous academic program. My son loves it too! He gets to use a laptop in class and take it home. The school has the most current technology available. I would highly recommend Sheridan Tech High.

My experience has been outstanding with this school. I have always received the help I needed quickly and my instructor has been more than great to me. Whenever I have had a problem with books, my machine or even my own personal computer, my instructor was a phone call away to help me solve my problems quick. She has gone as far as coming to my home herself on her free time to provide books and a school laptop so that I wouldnt miss out on my classes. She has just been amazing. It's instructors like her that represent the school so well, and make your experience a smooth sailing! Court Reporting student. Instructor: Debby Ross
