We have had a wonderful experience with Pace for our rising 1st grader. She is thriving in an academically and socially supportive environment. The teachers are incredible, and the sense of community extends from K to 12 !

It is one of the best schools in Buckhead. The children are amazing and respectful, while the teachers are truly amazing at their job. The students learn so much. There are also many opportunities for leadership and skill building in this environment. They never cease to make everyone feel welcome at Pace Academy. It is truly such a happy and supportive environment.

Toxic work culture and horrific leadership. This past school year (2021-22), 1/4 of elementary teachers resigned. Although the administration claims that the resignations resulted from the Pandemic / Great Resignation, it is untrue. Many teachers departed before the end of the school year due to unbearable work conditions, unwillingness to address issues in real time, and lack of support. Not to mention cases where BIPOC faculty were bullied. Abuse of privilege and power displayed at it's finest: worthy of a case study!

Academically, Pace is a suburb school. I attend 6-12 and believe nearly every teacher changed my life and got me to the point I was today. The extracurricular programs were strong and kept students involved after school. My only reason for including 4 stars would be that socially, Pace isn't necessarily the greatest fit for everyone. The overall community is inclusive but many grades form cliques that might be difficult for some students to deal with, and there can be some issues with social isolation for some students. I've had experience of faculty helping with this, but it's different for everyone!

Pace has prepared me to be a leader moving forward out of high school, and I'm especially thankful for their Isdell Center for Global Leadership Program for incorporating the international perspective on global issues into the school curriculum. They provide some great local volunteer and travel opportunities for students to participate in! I'd definitely still recommend it for anyone looking for a private k-12 in the Atlanta area.

I was bullied ever single day of middle school, the teachers all knew and never did anything. I'm high school when it persisted my dean told me to avoid the bullies. Pace is not a safe learning environment. I went from high As to Cs because of Pace. I now suffer from depression and anxiety, all linked to bullying. If I could have one thing back it would be going here in the first place.

I have the greatest word to say about Pace. My 2 daughters( now 11th grade and 9th grade) have been here at Pace since pre-first and they love it. Fantastic experience over all. Everyone here makes feel like you are part if this great Pace's family . It really feels good when you know your kids are in good hand. Our family love Pace Academy. And we all love our head master Fred Asaf. Sam Abdullah

It makes me sad that I am only giving Pace a one star rating. My son went three years, and my daughter went seven. Academically it was solid ...with a few inadequate instructors, along the way, to whom Pace should have bid farewell . We much enjoyed the athletic program. Both my kids participated a lot. We also liked the Pace community. The DISQUALIFIERS were my kids 'under the surface' experiences. My daughter started Pace in the 6th grade. She was universally acknowleged as being a beautiful, confident, sweet-spirited, intelligent, mature, and compassionate girl. The 'popular girls', though, considered her a threat, and she was never accepted by the 'in-crowd'. There was a prevailing culture of 'conformity'. Her free spirit was suffocated. My daughter says if given the choice to do it over, she'd go elsewhere. This, coming from a girl who was head cheerleader, a student leader and centrally involved in all school activities. My son, as confident and gifted as his sister, didn't mesh with the administration's 'political correctness' orientation. They tried to label him a 'bad boy'. He fled to McCallie, and has matured into a paragon of leadership and virtue.
