Davenport North High School is a great school. My son currently goes there and is in the dual enrollment program. He is also involved in athletics. The teachers and administrators truly care about their students and there is a noticeable change in the culture there. The school is safe and the kids feel comfortable. The athletic teams are starting to have more success and big part of that is the great feeder program that has been developed over the past few years. The feeder program is now the envy of all the Davenport schools. So far, it's been a very positive experience for my son and I'm looking forward to what lies ahead for him.

You'll hear stories about how great Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley are, but truth be told, I lived in those school districts and the kids are very spoiled and ungrateful. Davenport North is more down-to-earth, has great teachers, great community, and is safe. There is a lot of diversity in this district and that's a positive in my book.
