Lewis Central Middle School is an area where sixth through eighth-grade students are able to start fostering relationships that will carry into high school. The teachers go above and beyond meeting the safety and educational standards that far surpass any other school in Council Bluffs, IA, and most Omaha, NE schools.

As a former Titan, who also has had four nieces and nephews attend this school, Lewis Central is hands down one of the best schools if you want your child to succeed both personally and academically.

terrible, I had a big problem with bullying, some teachers were bias and mean, I was forced to apoligize to a teacher because I said "ladies first" to a fellow student (he had been antagonizing me since the beginning of the school year) if you're thinking about sending your kid here, don't

I'm seeing comments below about bullying (I understand they're from awhile ago) and I would just like to say most of the by-standers will stand up for the kid being bullied whenever they see the bullying in action. The school also provides sheets that can be filled out and turned into to the office, that way you can get help without the bully knowing. When you ask the teachers for a paper they don't ever make it a big deal, that way no one has to know you're the one who told on the bully. (Also, as far as I know the bully is not told who turned in the sheet.) Other than that this school is great!

This school is a very good school for learning but i agree that there is alot of reports of bullying. This is an issue that needs to be solved but in my opinion i think another problem is the number of students using drugs. There are alot of kids doing drugs in this department. But bullying is really important too.

I went to this school and the whole district. I am baffled at the reports of bullying and favoritism. Almost all of the teachers I encountered were more than eager to lend an ear when I had complaints or needed help. Unless a student went out of their way to not interact with the faculty the faculty was always there.
