My husband and I both went to this high school and have always appreciated our education from there. Now that our daughter iS in high school we would have chosen no other place. South is a wonderful school. As my former teachers and now daughter like to say...ItÂ’s a great day to be a Cougar! :) great school!

I love this school. This school always made me feel safe. There was always something to get involved in wether it was sports or clubs. The teachers are always very supportive and encouraging the students to do their absolute best. I would recommend this school to everyone.

This school is the worst possible place, especially if you have a child who is learning disabled or labeled as a problem. No attempt is made to challenge those who have the potential to better themselves. Learning impaired children are pushed thru the system like cattle. When they refuse to hold a student back who desperatly needs to be, and graduate them at 18 without the ability to read above a 3rd grade level, who can only spell phoneticly, and can not do basic math well enough to balance a check book, that is a school that has failed the child. If you are a parent who involves yourself in your child's education, stands up and demands change, you will be ignored and labeled a trouble maker. If you want a textbook example of the effects of No Child Left Behind, look no further than this high school and the Salina school district. Save yourself the headache and your child the heartache and educate them elsewhere. Our children deserve better.

Worst school yet. My sons first year and he already hates it, why i have no idea
