Worst Catholic school I have ever encountered. The value system does not align with the Catholic Church, or the teachings of Christ. It is a terrible place and I highly recommend any other option you have ... unless you are looking for a Darwinian capitalist ideology in leadership and a place where your kids will have the opportunity for drugs and alcohol every day. Administration turns a blind eye to bullying, cheating, drugs, vaping, and alcohol on their campus.

Teachers are largely not verified. They also make their own curriculum and have very little oversight by administration.

The core class sizes at Sacred Heart are under 16 students which allows great communication and detail to study/questions. Most of the teachers have a planning period and offer pre and post one on one with students when they need it. For example, my son has met weekly with his math teacher after school as needed.

Sacred Heart has a Community and House program where many leadership, guiding, programming and social rolls take place. This allows all students an additional place of belonging and support from pier and fellow classmates.

Administration meets monthly to go through curriculum, academic, social and community agendas. The staff works together on concentrated studies to dive deeper into effective teaching strategies.

The skills program supports a variety of learning challenges for reading, math, history, comprehension, learning, etc.

Students are encouraged to support, respect and accept one another. When a bullying issue arises, the students are brought into the counselor's office to find the root of the problem and they are given encouragement to effectively work through their differences.

The lessons provided are conducive to the subject and keep the students on track and involved. Study guides are written out by the students rather than handed out, which is a memorizing step.

I have graduated a daughter and have a son in 11th grade. My children are well educated, are allowed every opportunity, encouraged to take ahold of opportunity and taught a value of respect, self-respect and a firm faith based ground to support them in many ways.

I love how serious this school is about giving your child the highest level of education it can. I transferred over from a local public school and noticed big differences in not only the education but the people and environment as well. The teachers were well educated, experienced, and would teach professionally while still having fun with the students. I also felt that Sacred Heart goes out of their way, even after graduation, to help you by offering extra classes like, writing college essays, how to do your own taxes, or managing and budgeting for your bank account.
