We absolutely love this school! Every staff member knows my daughter and our family and is beyond welcoming. The principal greets students daily outside and dresses up in silly costumes just to make the kids smile. They offer regular family after school game nights/activities and they're always free. Mrs. Micheel (kindergarten) is an angel and is clearly an experienced teacher and loves kids. The staff even know my younger child by name and tell her they are excited for her to join Lincoln Lions in a couple years. They have made this new town feel like a home for my kid.

My family moved in to the area about 2 years ago and one of the most important things we considered was which school our children would attend. I am happy to say that we couldn't have made a better choice than sending our kids to Lincoln Elementary! Our kids have loved the teachers they've had and we as parents have felt welcomed, involved, and informed throughout our experiences so far. I can also see that our kids are being engaged in their learning and that all staff are hands on with making sure that if anything arises that it's being focused on and supports put into place. The principal is newer to the school as well and I think he's done amazing in his first couple years here. I've told many of my friends that are parents how much we enjoy Lincoln and appreciate all the ways that they make us feel secure in our kids' education.

Our children and family have always felt welcomed and supported. Our children note that the teachers are kind, loving, and truly care about kids. Families are encouraged to engage in events and participate to provide input.

Mrs. Teeter (Principal) greets the children at the door every morning with a smile. My kids are excited to go to school and she knows each child by name.

The teachers and staff at Lincoln treat my children like their own. I wouldn't send my kids to any other school. My kids have learned so much both in their academics and in life skills. It's an amazing school that is full of wonderful people from the teachers and support staff to the students.

It is subpar to my standards but there is no other good options but to home school. People have said its a good school but before we came here we had been at two different schools for pre k and kindergarten. They are all different but to me they all lack descent guidance and common sense rules.

Kindergarten does not have homework, only to read short stories at home.

To me they are just average like any other teacher, they do many things I do not agree with as far as principles are concerned.

I only wish my daughter came here sooner...... She is a 4th grader who has struggled with reading throughout her school years, her last school in Abilene wanted to hold her back because of reading which I wasn't oppose to doing but I checked out Lincoln Elementary and they said they offered the Fast Forward program for reading....needless to say it made our decision simple to switch. My daughter started out in 4th grade (Mrs. Cooke) with a 1st grade reading level now coming close to the end of her 4th grade year she is at a high 3rd grade level. She had low self-esteem because of her reading. Since she has started at Lincoln, she loves school, reading is no longer a chore for her she wants to read, and the teachers are absolutely amazing. They are straight forward, no surprises, and we the principal is very active with the kids. I look forward to her finishing out elementary at this school.

My son is a 4th grader who transfered to Lincoln this year. I could tell you a million good things about this school, the teachers, and the principal but I will share his words after attending for a couple weeks...."Mom, I've learned so much if I had gone here since kindergarten imagine how much smarter I would be" He has some speccial needs and at this school his reading level went up, his anxiety level went down, and he likes going to school!

My son attended Kindergarten through part of 4th at this school, from 2007-2011. We had an absolutely phenomenal experience at this school. Samrie Devin is an outstanding principal, all of the staff, teachers, and other parents are extraordinarily friendly. We were sad to leave the school. We are military and moved overseas. Though we have not been there for the last year or so, I have no doubt that they still have high standards and continue to exceed all expectations. Go Lincoln Lions! No matter where we are, my son will always belong on Lincoln Elementary.
