I recommend this school, It has helped me out for the better, all the negative reviews were from years ago, but this school has improved greatly. I recommend it.

the school has a few nice teachers that actually do their job and care about the students. there is a lot of favoritism, and it's mostly to teachers children or athletes. there are a lot of stuck up kids and they are somewhat racist. I am a senior and have been at this school since about sixth grade and I'd say I had more of a negative than a positive experience, a lot that they could improve on.

We are noever really assigned homework and if we do it's not really checked or everyone just cheats.

most of our teachers have no idea what they are doing, and are horrible at interacting with the students.

lots of cliques and snobbish kids, especially the sports teams. and the teachers show a lot of favoritism.

the school does nothing about it. they say it's a zero tolerance policy but truly that do nothing it happens everyday and is basically ignored.

I attended South Beauregard up until my second year of high school. I had quite the experience. I noticed while I was there they don't have any grey area. I will be completely honest in my response and explain why this school is not fit for this generation. The school is mostly white and are completely stuck in their ways. it's quit hard to "fit in" with the slightest difference. I'll give you an example. I have always been on the deeper side of things, while most are just shallow. I came out as liking girls and from that i earned the nickname "Devil", or sometimes I'd get told i was going to hell. You may think "Well yeah, i mean its in the bible", but imagine if it were your child being made fun or or called names. I wished every day that I could change, or I'd ask myself "Why can't i just be normal?" I'll tell you now that isn't too lovely for your self esteem. If that isn't a good enough response, then how about this. Not only did i get put down about my sexuality, but I got picked on about my weight. I was always a healthy weight and i loved my body, but with depression came eating, and of course ater that came to me eating nothing to maybe a couple peanuts a day. I became disgusted with myself, hating all of my qualities, but for what? Why did i let these people ,who's prime is high school, get to me? The simple answr would have to be that they were the only people around. I had never seen anything other than that place. I guess what I'm trying to get at is try to give your child something more than this torn place. Let them go somewhere that will give them opprtunities. If you have a young lady, give her to plat sports and not only have the option of running around in short skirts or tights in front of the football players that don't see them as talented. Give them the chance to acheive greatness instead of being told they can't because of their gender, sexuality, looks, and everything else the world could see as a flaw when indeed it is perfection. So i'd recommend you send them somewhere other than such a broken place .

My son has been a student at South Beau. High For 2 1/2 years. We moved here from out of state. We choose South Beau. based on online reviews. My problems with this school are parent teacher communication and discipline. If your child does get in trouble they mail a letter. You don't even know what's going on tell days later, unless your child tells you. My son has only been in trouble once for his shirt being un tucked. He got ISS and had to clean busses that day. I don't agree with that. My child's studies should be most important. In 21/2 years not one teacher or staff member has reached out to me as the parent. When I'm at the school for open house or to pick my child up. I fell invisible...I never been treated that way by a school before. On a good note my son say's he likes the school most the teachers are nice. Most important his grades are great he is in AP math and science. So over all I guess South Beau. is good...

I graduated from South Beau it's a great place to send your children to,I have three children that have graduated from this school and my grand children attend there now, for the people that don't like the school and say negative things about the school take your children some where else no one will miss you.

I don't recommend this school. The teachers say one thing then do something totally different. You can never get a straight answer out of any of them. We moved here about 4 months ago and my children are miserable. The kids talk and do whatever they want and teachers just let everything go. I have one that needs resource classes and we are still trying to get those lined up. No one seem to be worried about anything. We have family members that were looking to move out to this area we have told them to reconsider because of the school. It's absolutely horrible.
