Our 1st and not ever again school year was unpleasant due to one bad apple. Kelli Wood the front office staff member was unpleasant and rude every time I would entered into the school from start to finish during that school year. She may need to be trained better and differently on how to speak to the adults bringing their children there. The teacher and paraprofessional, speech therapist was great in my child's learning experience. It's just the one bad apple that made others pull their children out of the school because she was disrespectful to the parents. This is not normal in my reviews but I had to be the voice to say something about that one bad apple.

This administration has allowed a bus driver to continue to put a special needs child in danger. They refuse to make reasonable accommodations for bus stop safety. The child has entered a major road way several times. Was dropped off by himself on the first day he rode the bus. Has been left behind twice while walking to the bus. We requested a change of bus stop just off the major road due to his needs. Was refused. Requested extra time to get to the bus. This was done for a week, then the bus doors was closed and he was left behind. This caused a serious emotional break down as well as the child trying to chase the bus down on this parkway. His mother is disabled and can not catch him. This is unacceptable and we feel his right to reasonable accommodations is being violated.

Please if you can avoid putting your child in this school do so. This is the WORST elementary school. There maybe 3 or 4 decent teachers there and that is it. The mass majority of the staff, teachers, front office, and the principal are completely fake. Ofcourse they are going to put on smiles when you meet them the first day. Ive been up there so many times because my child has been getting bullied to extreme extents. Ive had one on one meeting with the principal & group meeting with teachers. Nothing got done or fixed, know what they did they went and asked the class if its true. They deny and its all dropped mass majority said no. Umm ofcourse they are going to say no they dont want to get in trouble and they were the ones that did it. Then parents your going to LOVE this one. If you were a teacher during recess and you see children form a circle around 1 child are you going to continue to stand by the Bench and conversate with the other teacher or are you going to go see what is going on and break it up and tell everyone to go play. In this case, they stayed at the bench. My son was the one in the middle. First time I broke down and cried at the school because what my child had to endure alone. In the circle the kids yelled out questions. Raise your hand if you think (my childs name) is stupid And they all raise their hands and laugh. Started out with a few like that, dumb, etc. Then it was raise your hand if you think (my childs name) should go home and kill himself. My head fell to my hands and I could feel my face streaming with tears. My son was stuck in that circle and they wouldnt let him out. They curse him and tear him down and these teachers DO NOT CARE about your children. They do not do ANYTHING. They let these children use profanity. There is so much more. The teachers ARE mean to your children here, they do talk down to your child. Bullying is a real issue here. Some people that became teachers for a reason, not at this school. These people working at that school and running it have lost their ways, they are not there because they want to teach and care about your child. They are there to collect a paycheck. I do not recommend this school. I cant wait until we move to get my child out of there. ANY other school has to be better than this one. I hope the principal and staff see this because you will know exactly who I am. You shouldnt be a principal And over half of your staff Shouldnt have teaching license. Dont go here!!
