Not good for a disabled child. My 6-7 year old son got pushed down so hard by an older kid that his front tooth was knocked out and they didn't even write an incident report, just sent the bloody tooth home wrapped in a kleenex in his front backpack pocket. He was also regularly singled out because of his disability, he was not permitted to attend before or aftercare at the school, and the teached called every single day for like 3 months asking us to pick him up early because he was sick when he wasn't sick. I worried for my son's safety while he was here.

This school is the worst school. So much bullying from students and teachers. One teacher told my granddaughter that she thinks she’s privileged bc she’s white!! One student told my granddaughter that she bullies her because she’s white!! Why would a teacher tell a student this. Why would the child bully make a statement like that?

My granddaughter has more black friends then white friends.

I am extremely excited that they’re closing the doors. Wherever those students attend school next year, I feel for the school and I feel for the teachers because they are going to have a battle.

I feel the approach utilized at this school is horrible. There is no accommodation for students with exceptionalities.

I am not impressed with the majority of the teachers here. One teacher allows a 5 year old to wander the school grounds, with no idea where she is, another teacher conferences with the school bus driver on discipline and the bus driver gets to dictate discipline. Overly punitive without attempting to understand underlying issues.

This school did everything it could to minimize the children's integrity and self esteem. They marginalized the kids and made them feel guilty because of their background.

Leadership does not return calls and have severe problems with mendacity. Mr. Ken is the biggest bully and yelled at a parent in the office. He is very unprofessional and inappropriate. Mr. Brandon tell lies and goes back on his word. The most professional person I've had contact with is the receptionist.

This school offered no support for my students with difficulties, except those of a punitive value.

The biggest bully there are the administrators at this school. They bully children, have clandestine meetings regarding the parents and the teachers are so busy trying to fit in and not care about the children, they are surprised when they determine the parents are not as horrible as one or two staff members have indicated.

I've worked within school systems for over 30 years. This is by far the worst experience at any school in the state I have been involved with. I've contacted the school board, transportation an attorney and finally had to get the children out of the school. They have problems with mendacity and refused to work with parents. They will lie and indicate they return calls or have made calls when they do not. Run as fast as you can away from this school!

WE love Ms. Jeannie the gifted preK teacher. She really meets the needs of her students. They are learning in a fun and developmentally appropriate environment.

They have a school motto that they each learn that teaches them about accountability and being fair to others.

The staff is incredibly helpful. Everyone is extremely nice and they all go out of their way to make every child feel at home. My child is in the gifted class and his teacher is phenomenal! She loves every student and clearly loves her job! I cannot say enough good things about her and the program.

My 2 younger kids started here in pre-k. My oldest is now in middle school and my youngest is in his last year there. This school has given both kids they foundation they need to prepare them for middle & high school. The teachers, administrators, cafeteria & custodial employees are all caring and take very good care of the kids they come in contact with daily. They personally know each kid by name and they know the needs of each kid. Their PTO is phenomenal and turn out by parents for events are incredible. Parent participation is 100%. Love this school and it's employees. It may not be perfect, but it's a close to how it was when I was a kid. I gave 4 stars, because there's always room for improvement.

My child went here from K-5th grade. K was ok. 1st was ok. 2nd grade teacher Ms Jagers is phenomenal! but i HATED 3rd and 4th grade for her. Not only were the teachers lazy, but my kid had issues with being bullied and none of them would do anything about it, even after multiple communication efforts. Their communication to me left me wondering how they were able to become teachers in the first place. The school went downhill once the newer principal was appointed. Unfortunately I had no other choice in where to put her for school because we cannot afford private school. Fortunately, 5th grade was her best year and I loved all 3 of her teachers. My child has had straight As for almost all of her elementary life. Unfortunately, I think its because she's just able to adapt...not because of the way the teachers teach.
