We have three students at Louisiana Connections academy. Each year has been a struggle, but this year has been especially tough. Our oldest daughter had to end up dropping her dual enrollment at ULL because the school didn't send over the proper paperwork. Our youngest is having a tough time understanding what her teachers want from her. Overall the teachers and staff are very impersonal and disconnected.

The teachers at LACA show from the beginning that they are dedicated to my child's education. They are devoted to her and will do what it takes to see her succeed.

There is an appropriate amount of homework in this school. It is not overwhelming like some schools I've seen, but there is a good amount if the student is preparing for tests or completing projects.

Yes, I feel this school develops honesty, integrity, and fairness in its students by reminding them how important it is to complete their assessments independently, defining and giving them examples of plagiarism, and placing trust in them to excel in their studies and in their work. They are earning their grades and see the result of their work instantly, which motivates them to work harder and remain honest.

My daughter has excelled in LACA! She came into this school from a brick and mortar public school where she was behind academically. Her first year here she made straight A's and has maintained an A average for 4 years. The teachers are wonderful! They go out of their way to assist the students and make sure they are learning. It is a tough curriculum that will prepare her for her future!

Our grandson is finishing his 2 school year with LACA.
My daughter and us ( grandpa is his coach ) loving our school. Teacher's are more than qualified schoolteachers. Very caring and helpful in school work and personal life challenges. Our grandson is really looking forward to each day of school. Made the honor roll and especially loves the "after school" activity -chess playing with other LAKA students. This grandma is 100% happy when grandson is happy . And he is. Looking forward to 7th grand.
Who can say that with a smile. Only Louisiana connection academy parents. Thankyou all who makes all this happening. # greatfulgrandma

I can't give the teachers enough praise! They were all wonderful, caring, heart felt and determined to get my student through the year. They know how to work with the kids in the educational stand point, then let loose and get to know one another when it came time for field trips. The students get a well rounded education.

The great thing about "home work" is its built into the lesson plans. Once you finish the daily work you are done for the day! My student has not been so overwhelmed as she was in brick and mortar school. No more 5 hour school days then home for more home work.

This school has been great from the enrollment through our first year! They have been most helpful and honest with how the school program works and actually carried out what they promised.

This was our first year at Connections. I have a 9th grader. I love the communication with the teachers! My child has heath issues and the freedom here has been awesome! She is able to get her work done and take breaks as needed. I was concerned about socialization at first, but the field trips are awesome! She as met several kids her age and keeps in touch with them. I love this school!

This is our first year with Louisiana Connections Academy, but we love it! I have three kids: 5th, 4th and 2nd. All three love the program, their teachers and the amazing field trips! It was hard the first two weeks getting started and setup with a routine; however, the staff at Louisiana Connections Academy was so supportive and helpful through the rough time! I can't see us doing anything different! So thankful to have found Louisiana Connections Academy, it is the BEST for our little family!

Louisiana Connections is a public school and a great alternative to our failing school system. My daughter goes to school online. This school is fun and challenging. She belongs to several clubs and attends field trips. She has Live Lessons and interacts with teachers and fellow students. This has been a wonderful experience!

I enrolled 2 of my 4 children this year and I am pleased with it. I am discussing with my husband about enrolling our other 2 children as well. They have field trips and fun days to get involved with the kids. The teachers and staff check in often and my children get a weekly call from their homeroom teachers. Also, when you log in everyday, you and your students will have emails from the teachers. They post videos and host "Live Lessons" where the students and teachers interact with each other. You are NOT a teacher, this is NOT home school. You just guide the student in their tasks and the teachers are there for further guidance and support. Great choice for my family :) They also provide you with your supplies (and a computer!) for free and a plus is NO UNIFORMS!!
