I would not recommend this school. One of the biggest issues is the lack of support for students’ mental health. It often feels like students are expected to deal with serious stress and personal challenges on their own instead of receiving meaningful help or understanding from the school.

Safety is another major concern. There have been situations that made students feel unsafe, and it doesn’t seem like these issues are always handled effectively or taken as seriously as they should be.

Communication is also very poor. Important information is often shared late, is unclear, or doesn’t reach students and families at all. This creates unnecessary confusion and frustration.

Overall, this school needs to make significant improvements in student support, campus safety, and communication. Students deserve an environment where they feel heard, protected, and informed.

This school is underrated. Unlike Old Mill High School, it's not that dangerous. Staff are good

I graduated from high point in 2014 and this school really is not bad, it has a bad reputation but it really isn't what it seems. The teachers are willing to help you if you need if you just need to have motivation and know what you're going to school for with that being said many students there aren't in it for the education and probably just go cause the parents make them go but if you go to do well and with the mindset of wanting to graduate you will do well, I have had amazing teachers and counselors at High Point that did not hesitate to help when needed.

I will be graduating on May 30th. I have only been in high school for 3-years, i am an early graduating student and the oppurtubities in this school are endless it all depends on your self motivation and leadership. The school is improving quickly and i am confident that this school wont be the same after so many plans that are taking effect already.

This school isn't that bad you just need to know how to fight for what you want. I graduated from this school. went right to college an I already have graduated and became a veterinarian :) ! My parents have tought me well. And even though I didn't have the best grades in Hp I still always did what I could. And that's why I'm getting money today, for never giving up . Highpoint wasn't perfect but it wasn't the worst. Don't think this school is bad just because some parents never communicate with their kids to have them being good in school .

i wount recommend high point as a good school to go to.... because security is not all that strict on students and anytime there's a problem and security is needed it takes a long time for them to get there.. High point's facility is bad and the food they serve is not all that good too .. other schools are better compared to high point
