There's no boundary setting at this school. The students do whatever they want without consequences. Students with high-intensity special needs aren't well cared for, and parents should be leery about enrolling their children in this environment. Parents should also be proactive in their children's education and well-being at this school and not simply trust that the principal and AP have their children's best interests at heart because they don't. There have been unreported events concerning student safety and unreported incidents to save face, such as when a student ran out of the school building and into the neighborhood. If parents don't speak English and have no family member to assist with language translation, these parents in particular could be at a disadvantage, to the detriment of their child slipping through the cracks. Overall, this school is pretty toxic, and the toxicity starts with the head and trickles all the way down. Parents need to be extra vigilant with sending their children to Cannon Road.

We've been here for three years after moving back from overseas, G1-4, and my daughter is a very well behaved, high-academic achiever. She and we have had a tremendous experience. The kids are kind and well behaved, despite not having super high test scores on average (we're a 5 not a 10) and there are a lot of super smart kids to balance out those less academically talented. Teachers are very energetic and involved, extremely professional and responsive. The current principal is a start, working constantly to support teachers and keeping them on top of curriculum changes, she makes a HUGE difference to teacher effectiveness, leadership makes a bigger difference in ES than HS. Don't be fooled by 5 rating, due to range of academic performers, this is a very strong school and a positive educational environment.

Cannon Road ES is a well run school. The faculty is very professional, courteous, enthusiastic and above all very talented. My Son has assimilated well at this school. If you are an involved parent you will see the caliber of this school. I hope the faculty continues to set and maintain the highest standard of learning for the students.

We are more then happy with our children's school. Cannon Rd staff is excited to learn. Its a brand new school with the top technology. We are very happy with the Principal and Vice Principal.
