Great education, great teachers, great atmosphere! I was at this school more than home. I loved every minute of my Catholic education from St. James. The teachers always made me feel seen and truly cared about who I was as a person while also making sure that I was excelling in my academics. Can’t wait to send my own kids there someday.

My kids have attended St. James middle school and have all had a great experience with the teachers, administration, and other staff. They come home and actually tell me what they learned that day, which is pretty amazing for teenage kids. Way to go, St. James!

After having kids in both Liberty public schools as well as St. James Catholic School, the comparison is night and day. We moved my middle son to St. James in his 7th grade year. We were very impressed with the middle school's level of rigor and personalized help that he received there. He came out a much more proficient student than he was when he went in. My youngest son started at St. James when he was in second grade. He qualified for the Peak Program in the public school, however after moving him to St. James, he received advanced curriculum content, so that we didn't see a need to send him to the gifted classes at the public school even though that was an option. He has flourished both academically and socially at St. James. He plays in the band as well as on the St. James sports teams. He is challenged on a daily basis and often has opportunities for leadership in a smaller group setting. Great school all around!

I’m SO very thankful for our school, teachers and administrators. These teachers gave up their Sunday, the last day of spring break, the last day before the crazy homebound learning begins, to make sure every single student in the building had all the necessary supplies and resources to learn. It took all day in order to comply with social distancing but they did it anyway. They give and give and give to their students. My boys are beyond blessed to have each of them shaping their education!

Teachers are great, leadership is terrible. I think I want the education for my kids more then they do which is highly disappointing. Also always expect to give more. We were asked to give more then the tuition amount finally fed up with it.

St James is an Amazing school with smaller class sizes taught by excellent teachers. It's a safe and nurturing environment that empowers students to achieve their full academic potential as well as becoming lifelong learners and good stewards.Parents are encouraged to participate with hands-on involvement in each child's education. We love the attention given to each child and the strong sense of family community.

As a former student, they didn't teach me anything the whole time. The teachers are awful, they are always asking for money, and they only like you if you attend the school for PK-8th grade. So if you are changing schools, Go somewhere better like, like any other catholic school minus St.Charles and St.Andrews

Good school but expect to pay more than the tuition/ tithing amount. They are constantly asking us for money. One of their favorite fundraising efforts involves promoting local businesses & restaurants. They tell the kids all about CiCi's Pizza or McDonald's night, even putting stickers on their clothing to "remind" us! The peer pressure is getting to be too much. I think the expectation is that all families have alot of money to spare.

After 4 years at St James, we chose to leave. The cirriculum and most teachers were good, but the administration was poor. They do a great job promoting the school and sweeping any issues under the carpet. We seen bullying as a big problem there, especially at the middle school level. We know many families that have left with similar concerns.
