The school is OK. I absolutely feel like my children are safe when they are at school. Our family was very disappointed with class size (31 students in 5th grade this year with only 1 teacher, 25 in kindergarten with only 1 teacher). Class size was too large last year as well and we were hopeful the school would hire additional teachers before this year started. There are good things about the school--safety and good music program are the two that come to mind. It is hard to get past the class sizes for me.

I have found the public schools to handle student behavior much better....zero tolerance of bullying.... better handling of the wide diversity of intellectual levels. My kids LOVE their new school after leaving Greenville. There seemed to be favoritism to those kids that attend the affiliated church. Their formality in general is not real world and lends itself to a "holier than thou" attitude perhaps? Their music program is excellent and they have some excellent teachers, but they need to be more keyed into what's going on outside the classroom.

A great school with high academic standards. They have high moral standards without being legalistic. They do not apologize for being distinctly Christian. The teachers truly care for the students. It is evident that it is a priority for them to make sure each student understands that the Gospel is given as a free gift apart from any works. Our daughter transferred to this school and was warmly welcomed by both students and teachers.

The school propagates a heavy handed legalistic viewpoint throughout its curriculum. One teacher told my son if he didn’t ask forgiveness from his sins every evening before going to bed, he would surely go to hell, and lose his salvation. The doctrine seems to be all about what we contribute toward our salvation, rather than recognize it is God who reaches out to us to save us, completely.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this school! The teachers and staff are loving, caring and all-around amazing!! They put 110% into the education of the children entrusted to them and teach them to be not only wonderful students, but God-fearing, Christ-centered individuals who contribute back to society. We are blessed to be a part of Greenville Christian Academy.

I transferred my daughter here (Grade 10)after bullying at her previous "Christian" school. The academics are superior to what we found in larger private Christian schools and the teachers have an in depth knowledge of their teaching area. Most of the high school teachers have years of teaching experience and advanced degrees. The principal was and is welcoming. Love the dress code-modest but not suppressing. School is welcoming to any parent who wishes to participate - did not feel like a typical PTA clique.

My husband and I will be forever grateful for the education all our children have received at Greenville Christian Academy. Our children were completely ready to excel as they continued their education in college and universities. God has blessed and protected this ministry. We as a family have no reservations about highly recommending this school to any Christian parent looking for quality, character building, Christian Education for their children.

I graduated from this school in 1995 and my husband graduated a few years later. We are now proudly sending our daughter there (this is her 2nd year) and will be sending our son there next year. The teaching atmosphere and Bible based curiculum are outstanding and the teachers are excellent. We highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a good, quality, Christian education who live in the area.
