I switched to this school hoping for a place that my child would feel safe and happy in and from his first day he was teased because of his nationality. Then teased for other things had his backpack vandalized and cut, was bullied and would tell staff but nothing changed til he could no longer take it. There were some individuals who were better than others but overall I regret having spent the money and effort thinking it would be better

As a current 8th grader, I want to say this school is great, if you are looking for a good catholic education. Now the education/teaching at this school could improve, but i believe most if not all the teachers are willing and trying to help the students learn. I like how this school incorporates the Catholic Faith into most everything they do. Dont worry if you or your child are not Catholic, dont be shy to send them to HTCMS. Its a great school for everyone.

Our son had a great experience at Holy Trinity. The teachers were caring, administration addressed any issues fairly and there were many opportunities for both school and community involvement. Family engagement was one of the best aspects, they provided many opportunities for parents and siblings to engage and that's so important in the middle school years when kids are starting to pull away. I highly recommend all of the MACS schools.

The teaching is haphazard and assignments are given haphazardly as well with no unified way of giving assignments from teacher to teacher. The school has Google Classroom, but some teachers use it at times and others do not. The administration is unwilling to train teachers on a unified way of use.

There is a lot of bullying at the school, as if the kids were raised by wolves. Its deep and pervasive and extends into the high school. I recommend steering clear of the school entirely. I recommend smaller Christian schools if trying to stay out of the public schools.

This is my first year in middle school at HTCMS so far its good. Those reviews down there are people lying or complaining

The school has some good teachers who really try to make a difference. Sadly, it's also teeming with lethargic, angry teachers who yell at the students, and prefer handing out worksheet packets to doing any real teaching. Great emphasis on rote memorization and little inspiration for nurturing critical thinking skills. We find that our child's semester depends greatly upon the teaching team fate deals us. Principal is nice, but more interested in being viewed as popular than effective. Short-sighted, he turns a blind eye to social problems and poor teaching. Most students there are good kids from good homes, and some are truly exemplary in their kindness and ethics. School teaches to the middle. Bright kids are often bored to death, and kids on IEPs get no support in the classroom. HT lacks the warmth of the Catholic elementary schools and the high-level teaching of the Catholic high school. It exists because it's sandwiched between two stronger pillars.

My son is finishing his first year (6th grade) at HTCMS. It has been an amazing year of growth for him. I am impressed with the focus on a student as a complete individual with expectations on academics equal to those for character, respect, responsibility, etc. The principal is a fantastic administrator and strives to be a great leader for the faculty as well as the students.

It is obvious that many of the posts on this page are old. Mass is celebrated twice a month with the entire community, Eucharistic Adoration with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament occurs several times a year, and the Rosary is prayed with the entire school on the weeks when there is not a Mass celebrated. The school has a Chapel Club where students help with the care of liturgical objects, preparation of the altar for Mass, preparation of the music for the Mass as singers and musicians, and helping to prepare liturgical artwork. There is a respect life Club, "Spiritus" (Breath of God) that works in small and large ways to uplift the dignity of all human life. Students give up their lunch and recess periods to make sandwiches, personal care bags, and blankets for the homeless in our community; they have gone on numerous field trips to uplift the marginalized members of the greater community with kind words, smiles, and by being caring listeners to our neighbors' stories. Students and adults receive seasonal prayer booklets that are current while being faithful to Catholic Tradition. We even have a parent lending library with booklets, books, audio CDs and DVDs.
