The principal was spearheading the whole pick up after school and he wouldn’t listen long enough to call out the correct last name so our child stood in the sun for about 30-45 minutes before we were able to take her home with us.

I disagree because my child is a quick learner and as I stated before, she was super bored.

There was one incident and I got a call because my daughter wasn’t “kind” to another student. A little boy with B.O. was blowing his breath into all the other children’s faces and my daughter went and told the teacher. They were upset because she said the little “white” boy even though she did not know his name and was trying to describe the correct child.

Not a very pleasant one. I looked past the ratings because of the proximity but it’s not a very nice school. Classrooms are too far for the smaller children and the older children’s classrooms are right when they walk in. That’s silly to me since the older kids would know better how to maneuver the grounds.

Kindergarten students don’t receive any homework, just review and my child is bored out of her mind.

They’re so he’ll bent on students following their rules, they shout and snatch arms and I’ve seen it. It’s too far for a teacher to grab and shout at a child they did not birth.

Just no. It has too many issues for my liking. Maybe it’s better for older students.

Mres is a great school . I was skeptical bc of it being in the west over school district but I plan to have my child only attend mres and move before my child has to attend Westover . The K teachers are wonderful especially Ms Zelenick. The principal seems to be engaged and the staff are friendly
My child loves his music teacher. If parents get and stay involed all schools will be better .

I have a 6 year old son in Kindergarten at MRES. I hate it. To be fair we transitioned from a private school in Fayetteville where he attended prekindergarten, which is s stark contrast. He started the school year with one teacher, and she was great. It was still a big difference from what I was used to at his previous school, but she was organized, communicative and I felt like my son was learning. A could months into the school year they cut two kindergarten classes due to under enrollment. My son's classes was one of them. The students were divided among the remaining four classes. His new teacher, is unorganized, hasn't responded to my 2-3 requests for a conference (I gave up after that, thinking it probably wouldn't make a difference), and worst of all, my son doesn't seem to be LEARNING. I have two younger children still at home full time and if it weren't for the social aspect I'd take him out altogether and homeschool him, I'd save myself a trip every morning. If it's at all possible for us financially, I plan to put him back in Fayetteville a Christian School for 1st grade. Or move to a better school district.

My twins were students at MRES this year in the Spanish Immersion program. Their teachers, Senora Vaca, and Senorita Alvarez were wonderful! My children were given instruction tempered with love, concern, and genuine care for their well being. These are two of the MANY fabulous teachers here. Great school, good cirriculum!

My child is a student at MRES. Overall the school is not that bad considering the school district. The staff is somewhat friendly. Coming from another state I was disappointed in the academic standard and curriculum.
