This is the best school choice we have made. After traveling with the military we have made numerous educational decisions for our children ages 15-25. The staff pours into the students. The academics are rigorous and the opportunities to participate in school activities are available to every student.

Our daughter attended Coastal Christian High School from its very first year. We highly recommend it.Her experience formed her character, elevated her worldview, disciplined her in Christian principles, and provided an excellenat academic and sports experience. We never worried one moment that she was safe and that the faculty were of the highest character. The academics were rigorous and so was the discipline. We were so grateful that Coastal was available to us at that time so that she did not have to go to public high school. She recalls her four years there with fondness and gratitude.

I am a grandmother of two Coastal Christian students and I am writing this letter to complain of policies or practices that appear, to me, to be discriminatory. Recently both of my grandsons tried out for the golf team. Evidently they both did well but only one was eventually chosen because the other child did not attend a " discussion " or "organizational" meeting before the try-outs. This seems to be highly unfair and leads me to ask a couple of questions:

1. Was the fact that the student HAD to attend an organizational meeting made known to the students trying out?
2. Does an athletic director have the power override the decisions of his coaches after try-outs? If so, I fear. this is demeaning to your coaching staff plus appears to be discriminatory.

This school sucks. Don't go here if you can avoid it. I hate it so much.
