This school only tells parents what they want to hear when a parent has a problem with what is going on at that school. The sad thing is it's the Principals and teachers acting this way. They are supposed to do better but they don't.

The worst school Ive ever been to, all the teacher (except a handful) act very childish and like they are still in high school as 30+ aged adults. The only good principal is Mrs. Morris, she is the only one who is deserving of respect and as for the others they are very disrespectful even if you are kind to them. The guidance is probably the worst of all, they are supposed to be there to help yet they make it way harder and they dont care at all about any students but the few they know personally which just means if you want to do anything in school apparently favoritism is the only way to do it. Now, the environment amongst the students is just as bad with the teachers, there are constant fights and a lot of drugs in this school, I understand every high school is going to have drugs but the amount is astronomically higher than most in my opinion. Not to mention (if you havent saw already) the school is way below average and I would never recommend sending your children here if you have a choice, unless you want your child to fail and never have a normal highschool life this should be your last choice.

My experience at this school was ok. The bathrooms were terrible, the food terrible, the administration was ok. There were fights almost like every day, and a TONNN of racial discrimination. Not just from students but sometimes teachers. Literally felt like a prison and not a place I would want to learn at. Luckily i escaped.

im a junior here at whhs and its not good ive been here for 3 years and the bathrooms and halls and half the classes are the dirtiest places ive ever seen and the amount of fights that happen here DAILY are CRAZY the teachers are ok but even they talk wrong about this school and students mental health is some of the worst here. so take it from a student DO NOT send your child to this prison of a school.

this school is one of the wrost i have ever been too i am supposed to be a senior this year but sadly this school messed my credits so much i am a year behind. they failed me in classes i passed and when i went to the office to show them the mistake they basically blamed me for it all even with showing them my passing grades and test scores. The kids here are rude for the most part and most if the teachers do not care and they WILL tell you that. do not send your kids here if possible!!!

I'm a second generation to graduate from WHHS, I graduated in 2013 and I still live about 3 miles from the school, even though my assigned district was HCHS (Harnett Central High School), it was just closer. There were a couple teachers that I really didn't like, but other than that, I loved my teachers. They really take the time to help a student if they ask for the help, and gave numerous opportunities to get help.

This is a great school, if you ever want to go to this school make sure you check out Mr.Carter's Art Class room. Even if you don't like art. We have made statues, done computer graphic's, and a hole lot other things!

This school is good for average children with average needs; the percentage of graduates of this school that complete college is less than 15%, which is disturbing. We left early in my daughter's college career, and were fortunate enough to leave NC and it's deplorable education program. She was terribly behind her peers and it took a year to catch up, and this was an honors student at WHHS. THe state we are in now requires all graduates to take the ACT, yet students at WHHS are not even encouraged to take it. Which could indicate why their college completions rates are so low; they don't encourage higher education. This school is average on a great day, on an average day, it's a waste of time.

So fare I have seen that the Teachers are great with the kids and take time with the ones how need the extra help.

I love this school! I live exctally 2 miles from WHHS. I'm a junior this year at WHHS. It's been voted best cleanest school in the county and one of the best high schools in the state. All the teachers and students are great!
