Our School is Emerado Elementary. Our daughter loves every aspect of going to school in Emerado. She loves riding the school bus and visiting with the driver and all her friends. She loves ever teacher she has had and raves about the school lunches. We love that the student to teacher ratio is low and how all the teachers and administrative staff know the children by name. They have a wonderful music teacher, who also teaches a band program. They also have opportunities to play sports like basketball. We feel attending a small town school like Emerado gives our children an advantage by having more one on one attention and an opportunity with different programs that would not be available with larger class sizes.

Emerado Elementary School is a great community where teachers, staff, administration and parents work together to help students learn and grow. Many people take on multiple roles to help achieve the mission that every student is the most important student. Students have access to new technology and learning programs that are integrated into their class work. Afterschool programs extend the growth and learning experience beyond the school day. Special assemblies bring outside speakers to educate students in ways that are sometimes challenging in a classroom setting. Special events bring the school and community together for fun and socializing to help build and grow community relationships.

I have been so impressed by the dedication of the teachers and staff at Emerado. We have a very challenging demographic and our teachers truly care about these kids and go the extra mile for them. We have a knack of "getting things done" in our school. When things are needed, we find a way! It is a wonderful family to be a part of!
