10/10 we have been VERY happy with Larimore. I have had children or nieces and nephews in this school system for a long time and I am very happy with the way they are now doing things. ItÂ’s a great school!

My children have an adequate amount of homework but most of the coursework is done at school.

Larimore Elementary has phenomenal teachers. In the past few years I have noticed that the school has changed for the better and have been implemented new programs to support students. The teachers are friendly and easy to work with and really love the students!

Students are very supported at school. They have a full time counselor - Mrs. Berger who is super friendly and supportive for students. She does many lessons with them!

Mrs. Swanson, the principal, has been with Larimore for many years she taught in the classroom, was the counselor, and is now the principal. She is very approachable and fair with students and parents. If there are ever any concerns they are addressed right away. She really seems to love her job.

LES has a great special education department! I have a family member who has students with some learning needs and she is very happy with the way they do things. They have changed to keeping the student mostly in the classroom with support from paras or spedical Ed teachers which I think is great!

Both the principal and counselor are quick to address any issues. They have a bullying program and I know that Mrs. Berger the counselor does classroom lessons almost weekly with students.

My daughter is finishing up her first grade year. Prior to Larimore, she attended two other schools, in two other states. Larimore Elementary has been very welcoming and has been a great fit for my daughter! She really enjoys her time here. This is a great school with a great staff!
