This school is not a very welcoming, fun, enjoyable space for young people. The bullying at Midway is honestly out of control, not to mention, the grading system for being a public school is *very* strict. As for the teachers, most of the teachers are not so bad. They at least try to help, however a majority of them are not very good at it. Some of the teachers are very ableist towards children with special needs, and not to mention unrealistic favoritism is noticed within a lot of students and teachers. By this, I mean; Other teachers will almost *always* put a different student's needs before another, even if the other had asked first. Overall, not a very friendly environment. Although, there are a slight few people who are kind, and actually human.

Never was too over loaded with home work. A few late nights here and there but nothing an average student can't handle.

Had a few teachers that were very well preparing students for college by holding them to similar standards based on my college experience.

Most of all the students are very well mannered and are great kids. Only a few were not the nicest kids.

They have plenty of paras to assist those who need a little extra help with school work.

Had to deal with a bully back in my days there. Nothing was ever done about it but that was many years ago under different administrators. It was one student that made my life and a few other students unpleasant.

My experience at Midway was very well considering I had attended many other schools as my family moved at lot. I did feel like some of the staff were just filling a spot and of not much use to the students. At least I never got much out of them. They definitely seemed to care more about the farmers kids (Not one of them.) more as they have more pull in the smaller schools as they basically run the smaller communities but that's the way it goes in these rural areas. They could have better prepared the students for life after high school but that is every school. Give more options and advise vs you need a 4 yr college degree to get anywhere in life. It is a nice school and mostly great staff. I would rather send my kids there but its not an option for me as I live out of the district and transportation isn't available.
