Our son was not doing well in public school. I had 2 requests for a child study team that were ignored by Hamilton twp public school. They have switched to chrome books for every in public schools and half of the lessons are link to YouTube videos or on google classroom. We hesitantly made the switch hoping a school with good values and smaller class sizes would be beneficial and we were overwhelmed at how much our son has improved in both school and his attitude. He is excited to go to school now, which I have never seen before and has told me “I love my school” more than once. His teacher is extremely attentive and approachable, as well as receptive to any concerns and willing to work with us to keep him on track. Something we did not have in public school. The small school allows the teachers and students to develop a strong relationship with each other which fosters respect, caring, confidence, support and learning. He is truly getting a quality education here as well as a better school experience. My only regret is not doing it sooner.

This is an amazing school! Everyone is so welcoming and kind. Academics are amazing and our child is happy and loves going to school every day! This school has been a blessing to our family .

I would not recommend your kids go here if you are not WHITE or part of the LGBTQ+ community. I was a student there and was severely bullied by my classmates. I need people to know this because this honestly is a racist and unhealthy school to go to.

Stay away .there is a reason why enrollment is low at this school .the parents are worse then the kids .the principal was a teacher keeping friendships with staff more important than fairness rules are for some kids not everyone .consequences given to all not the offender..teachers preach their version of Catholic values and belittle the students .this school does not build character they do more harm than good to a child’s confidence.horrible school

Our experience at OLS has been fantastic. Our daughter attended Pre-K and kindergarten at this school and we only have great things to say. The school feels like a family in which everyone cares for each other. Mrs Touhy, the principal, knows all kids by their name and they always feel cared for. The teachers are great and we always felt welcomed. My daughter loved her experience here. The school does a great job helping the students develop character and integrity.

I am an accomplished scientist who gives credit to the teachers and philosophy that I experienced at OLS which is still the tradition today as I’ve recently gone back to give a guest lecture to the 7 and 8th graders. Fantastic students, motivated/intelligent teachers!

When we began to tour schools for our daughter, I have to admit Our Lady of Sorrows was not first on my list. I'm so glad we decided to take the tour! My daughter instantly fell in love! OLS has such a great sense of community. The teachers are dedicated and truly care about each child. The principal is phenomenal! My husband and I are very pleased with the curriculum and our daughter can't wait to go to school each day. Our entire family has made wonderful friends. OLS is truly one of Hamilton's best kept secrets. Highly recommend! Your child will be safe and loved at Our Lady of Sorrows school.

We are so glad that we found Our Lady of Sorrows for our kids. We were looking for a private Catholic school in the Hamilton area since it was convenient for our jobs. We toured other schools but really fell in love with this one. The facilities are nice, safe and clean. The school has a music class where kids actually learn to play instruments. The gym is gorgeous and fully stocked with PE equipment. The campus has nice playing fields for sports and a playground for the younger kids. I was happy to see that kids are learning on iPads as well as regular computers. What I really like is that the Principal knows all the kids by name. He is very nice and really takes an interest in them. The school isn t so big where students get lost in the crowd every child is important. This school also has a very friendly, family atmosphere. Parents are very kind and welcoming and everyone looks out for each other. It even has daycare for infants/toddlers which most schools don t have and my daughter has so much fun there! We are really happy with OLS!

OLS school is an outstanding place that offers a well-rounded and rigorous education. My children fly into the building each day. They love their time there. The atmosphere is family-like with a caring atmosphere. The teachers are involved and supportive. The entire school offers a student group that interact and care about each other. The principal is responsive and well involved in the education of every child. We are so happy to have made the decision to enroll our children at OLS.

My daughter started here this fall and i couldn't be happier. The principal is great and will listen and the children like him alot. I really like that all the teachers are enthusiastic and you can feel the caring in the school. It has gone better then i had hoped.
