Incredibly dangerous for children. Presents and is described by most students as a prison. Many staff are barely going through to the motions. Fighting, guns, drugs and lack of educated supervisors are present. Truly, this school should be closed and dismantled.

Our child is a freshman, and she has math homework every night. French packet every week. English teacher is fantastic with an expectation that students read. She is being prepared for college.

I maintain the schools and have been around the district for years. I was amazed how some teachers donate thousands of dollars out of pocket to buy machines and supplies for the students, great job AHS.

Albuquerque High School has not only prepared me for college but it has also prepared me for life. AHS has a countless number of clubs and organizations that encourage students to reach for the impossible. AHS has excellent academies such as the Fine Arts Academy and the Business adn Leadership Academy. AHS is also known for its great school spirit, tradition and academic excellence. I'm very proud to say that I am a graduate from Albuquerque High School, the oldest high school in the state of New Mexico.
