I would not recommend this school to anyone. Adult bullies are real. Most of the office staff are not very nice or helpful. Like someone else stated if your kid is a jock or you or your child is making the school look good you are going to be fine. If you have a kid that struggles or is not interested in sports good luck.

If you care about throwing your cap on the football field at graduation and receiving an A just for showing up this is a perfect school for your child. If you care about college readiness, a decent education, diversity or any kind of professionalism this is not a good school for your child. Administration, counselors and teachers are very outdated with information and planning.

If your kid is a jock he will be fine if not well good luck maybe not smart but fine my kid can barely read but the report card is mostly A’s and pleasure to have in class

I have no idea. I know when I contacted my son's counselor I was lied to and then just ignored, until I raised enough of a fuss.

I don't think there's much bullying going on at the school since the majority of the children are all the same race and economic class.

My son never does his homework. I believe this school has the policy of giving a 50% grade even if the work is never done.

My oldest son was pushed through and given a diploma. Despite not going much his senior year. And definitely not doing his math work enough to be given a passing grade. Also my second son who is a sophomore was given a "C" grade for a 50% overall grade in Geometry. That was a semester grade. It seems as though regardless of the work you do they will pass you. I guess if you're looking for a school that will just get your child a diploma it is good. If you actually want your kid to learn and also know that there are consequences for not doing your work then it is very bad.

There is no integrity when your son has F grades 2 days before the end of the quarter and then one class he ends up with a b and the other one he ends up with a d when I know he did no makeup work at all. And he somehow scored 95% on chess that he would have had no knowledge of. Since he hardly attended school and never did any homework.

So far very unimpressed with my son's counselor. The whole part about just passing kids regardless of the work they do seems counterproductive to me. People wonder why kids nowadays feel entitled to everything. This could be one of the reasons. And I suppose it's probably School District wide if not Country wide that this goes on but I don't know for sure.

I think the children here get a great education but so many of the kids in this school have the "entitlement" attitude. I disagree with the comment below that you have to schmooze with the teachers to get a good grade. So not true. My child has not received the grades she has by doing this. She has done it on her academic skills. Overall a great school with very good teachers.

We moved here in june and enrolled our son in high school in August. We have found most of the office staff we have delt with to be extremely rude in dealing with some problems that wehad with their website. The teachers however were very helpful and got back with us very quickly. If only they could teach the office staff to be that helpful!

Extremely elitist and cliquish. If you want your child to succeed, be prepared to schmooze a lot of teachers and the dean. By the way, the dean's morning secretary is very difficult to deal. Make sure your child does not excel or outshine the "born 'n' raised" kids. That is unacceptable here.
