Dayton Intermediate School

They do not care about bullying at the school. My daughter reached out for help with a couple of girls who are making her life awful. The teacher who she reached out to told her that she has anxiety depression panic attacks cause she's guilty. I plan to take action. Diagnosed by her therapist, re diagnosed by Dayton A-holes. They crushed my baby. She trusts no one there anymore. My Daughter needs help and they leave her and blame her for her problems. Good freaking luck getting ahold of the principal of this dump.

You're in good order if you were in leader ship or sports or if you're a popular child if not you're screwed

My daughter is an actual leader ship class, and she has told me multiple times that the teacher herself is a jerk, she pushes the kids get good grades, but does not protect her students against bullying

I am absolutely disgusted by Dayton intermediate school and Dayton elementary school. Our children are cattle to be moved along, if they're struggling or having problems then they are bad children not children who are struggling. They do not deal with bullying they buddy up . If you can, please listen, put your children somewhere better. Dayton is absolutely awful.

This is the only middle school in the town. My daughter was bullied to the extend I told previous principal I would sue the school cause my daughter reported issued to "bully hotline" (which was a prepaid cell phone in her office she didn't check except once a week). Now a few years later my son is at this school. New principal and he is trying to clean up the mess from previous years but teachers still don't care. my son had a teacher tell him that because he was AROUND the people talking he was equally in trouble even though she sat the kids in groups (NOT OF THIER CHOOSING) and he got in trouble when the others did , my son shut down stopped trying when I tried to get a meeting with teachers .. 1 of 7 showed up, they all said " Had more important things to do" and I was there as a concerned parent trying to find out where the disconnect between my son from last year and my son this year is taken place... ITS come down to teachers no giving a rats asss. the ones that care and take the extra minute he has A's and B's ... the others... well no wonder the charter school are dominant for kids in our area.

Not super impressed, but school literally just started yesterday so I'm not going to write about the education as of yet, however, as a new parent and student to an intermediate school, this was very confusing. It would be good to have some sort of information packet that you can get right when you sign them up for school. I made sure I went and found out dates for when to register, and that day, the staff acted like she had no idea why she was busy. Ice cream social was a good opportunity to look around but there wasn't information to be had. Was told it was an official "meet the principal" night. We just moved here, we didn't know who he was. I just think the new student enrollment could be improved. I didn't even know what bus to send him on, or what supplies I needed to buy. I hope the experience gets better.
