Its a horrible school. They just pass students through whether they have A's or F's. Jennifer Lopez I believe is the guidance counselor. Her skills show you don't need to have a degree in order to work there. Its a joke and unsafe for teens to go there.

robotics was literally fight club. we had to steal and fight other kids over parts to pass the class. school lunch isn't edible, the education is so bad us students resort to ai for help cause we don't learn anything from the teachers. Most students resort to using this school as a boxing gym and 90% of the time the staff takes 5 minutes to respond. But when it comes to the phone policies they get to the class in a heartbeat. some guy asked me if I had money to buy drugs in the parking lot. The teachers use racial stereotypes and have said racial comments to students. Councilors are the opposite of therapists. most kids really come for free stuff and just take what they like or just feel like taking. One time a kid walked in and threw my backpack across the room for no reason. the bus times have a full hour variability. Buses are late DAILY. With no fail, they are ALWAYS late. One time it was actively hailing and we were still forced outside. the magnet program is hardly EVEN a program. The graphic design teacher uses AI, the game design classes get their teacher swapped 24/7 (the teachers are good but they aren't given time to teach.) and robotics isn't given enough supplies and instead of using the 4 months they have, they force every student to do their final at once making you have to fight and steal from other people to pass. students use this place as a smokehouse for weed and nicotine. Almost every student in this school enters with depression or leaves with it. They did a metal detector thing for show to act like they're secure, but they counted to ten before selecting a student OUT LOUD. If anyone had a weapon they could've just gone after 10 and gotten away with it. A guy behind me rolled up a blunt in Spanish class and started smoking it. Somehow the office took so long to arrive that he wasn't even caught. They take forever to fix the smallest issues. Some bathrooms don't even have locks, others have bloody toilet paper. Instead they just lock the bathrooms so no one can use them. A kid had relations with his step-sister in the back of the ROTC class. The substitutes try harder to teach than the actual teachers. This school is like an adult swim cartoon. There have been multiple predators at this school, to the point I sometimes do not even hear about them. Some of the teachers don't grade the assignments until the last minute, and some use AI to do so. Our complaints go on for so long that we ran out of space in this review.

This school does nothing about bullying and for the safety of the children. I had my 26 and 21yr old graduate from there, and they were fine. It's the school staff and school police who do not cafe. I had to take my 16 and 15yr old out of the school for the bullying and also having my 16yr old jumped by 3 students while the staff and school police did nothing. Yes I pulled them out of El Dorado and thank God everything is better.

My daughter was the first black letter earner in 18 years in sports. She was also the valedictorian of her class. Do you think she received the scholar/athlete award? No, she didnt fit the demographics. Terrible school, teachers unmotivated, students unmotivated. Go to Vegas High, learn something!

THE NJROTC program was the only thing that motivated me to work hard at this school. I excelled and they rewarded improvement in their students. This was not the case for any other subject because during my time there we had 30+ students in each classroom. NJROTC had 60 students but a large classroom & 3 instructors. Teachers were overworked and too busy to help struggling students like me. Discipline management was terrible. When fights occurred they expelled both the perpetrator and victim which sent them both to the same OP school where more fights happened. Fewer councilors than deans meant wrong priorities.
