I am a student at this school, and the middle school's homework is turned into class work if there is enough time in class. this allows me to have more time to study and relax.

yes, we have a good leadership system, but the timing is horrible. we have missed way too many leadership meetings due to holidays, and we even missed a meeting for health class! HEALTH. CLASS.

As a parent at Brookfield since 2014, we have had such a great overall experience, both at the TLC Preschool Campus, as well as at the main Elementary Campus. Every teacher my children have had have been great, and have always worked with us if we had any questions or concerns. The smaller class sizes help with more individualized attention, and the academics cannot be beat in Reno. The admin is constantly working to keep the academic profile forward moving with new supplemental programs and support, and it shows. We have been so pleased with the violin and orchestra program integrated into their day. My kids love that they get to eat outside when it's nice, and recess is a priority. The addition of the middle school offers a complete package K-8 for those looking for that continuity. Really love our school!

Developing strong character's with our children is important for them to succeed in life. Love and logic method is standard throughout the school and yes there are times that some students are not perfect but that can happen at any school. How you deal with it is a different story. I feel that Brookfield does an outstanding job at handling difficult situations and a case by case basis.

Teaching leadership, confidence and self-awareness is a strong suit for Brookfield. My children have strived and become more confident in their leadership skills. Regarding administrative leadership I feel that the director's strive to keep strong communications between parents, students & teachers and they have definitely improved over the past few years.

My oldest child was an early reader and is very academic and Brookfield allows him to learn at his pace in all subjects. On the other hand my daughter is an average reader but excels in other areas. However she is gaining confidence in reading with support from her teacher, classmates and at home. So Brookfield can help any child at any level of learning and with smaller classrooms there's more ability for children to learn at their pace.

Again the love & logic method is used throughout Brookfield however there have been instances just like any school no matter public or private with less than a hand full of students. But those matters were dealt with on a case by case basis. I feel that administration handles the situations with the best outcomes possible.

We've been with Brookfield since 2015. The reason we came to Brookfield was my son not only being an early reader but also left-handed. He felt displaced and ignored at public preschool so we came to Brookfield because of their ability to help my son build confidence, leadership and integrity. He is in 2nd Grade now and is well beyond his years in all his subjects. We've never had a horrible experience nor have we ever had situations with teachers. There was only one instance with only one of the bathrooms that I recall over the past 2 years and I've never seen an issue with the rain gutters. Oh and fundraising is done only by the PTA (a non-profit) and it's only for enrichment programs for the students and for teacher appreciation. As a parent you can choose to be a part of PTA or not. There's no requirement to donate. The school has also improved their security throughout all campuses and with everything that can happen at other schools these days I feel the safest at Brookfield and that to me is worth the tuition alone. Please don't base your decision of Brookfield on all you read here just come see the school for yourself and make an educated decision of what's best for your child.

The homework begins at the Kindergarten level with simply 1-2 pages per night M-Th including reading. It gradually increases as students move up in grade but nothing more than 1 hour.

All the teachers are highly educated with a minimum of a bachelor's degree and they are very caring with all students. My children have only excelled at Brookfield and I've never experienced a situation as others have mentioned regarding "horrible teachers". I feel that that statement/comment is very untrue.

our experience was that the teacher showed up right as the bell rang and then was gone before you could get your kid out of class. Not interested in talking to you about your child and couldn't wait to leave.

Over three years since my child attended this school. She still talks about what a horrible experience it was. How the parent volunteers were mean to kids who were in the popular click. When I listen to her tell her friends about her experience there, I have to wonder how I could have spent $12,000 to send her to a school that the Directors are only interested in YOUR money. They can't spend $5 to fix a rain gutter. The bathrooms are always flooded and in addition to your $12,000 they want you to help them fundraise. Save your money and spare your child being excluded and treated like a second class citizen.

Brookfield School has had some unfortunate reviews in the past two years, especially from their Middle School. Since the school year of 2015-16, the middle school has new staff. I cannot be more happier with the new staff at middle school. Due to the low student ratio, they had to combine 5/6 grade and 7/8 grade, which is not ideal, but because the teachers are amazing, it seems to work well and from what I know the students and parents are happy with the results and curriculum at the middle school campus. Students get the attention they need and students are given the chance to work according to their abilities. They do lack in amenities, such as a proper play area, athletics department, but this is not on the top of my list when sending my kids to private school.

Our Homework Philosophy includes nightly homework to re-enforce concepts learned during the day. Homework should not be busy work or new material. As I was a student at Brookfield 2nd-7th grade, I saw the terrible changes. The teachers began to be horrific, and their teaching skills were much below subpar. The directors have only one thing on their mind, money money money, and they constantly remove my reviews trying to make it seem like their school is actually a good school. 7th grade was the worst grade I have ever had, and that is becuase of the school I went to. -Justin.

For the parent who says that Brookfield is wonderful and it's not all about the fact that we're located in an office building and play in a parking lot..... As a student I have had a better experience at a free public school playing in a large field, and not having the pressure and stress like Brookfield teachers put in you. You should ask the numerous students at the middle school their opinion before you give Brookfield a great review.

Brookfield is absolutely awful! The middle school is an office building! I don't know any other school you pay 10,000+ for dumpy facilities and terrible teachers. It is not worth the money at all.

As a current parent of two students at Brookfield, I wish that the Directors would realize how they are damaging and hurting Brookfield school. The amount of amazing teachers we have lost just in the last three years is so sad. Brookfield continues to bleed awesome teachers because the Directors don't know how to treat their employees with respect. Sadly the Directors are also about to lose so many families who would volunteer at the school to make it a better place, but the Directors don't value parent involvement. Instead of being proactive Directors they are reactive and run around trying to fix a school that they are running into the ground. This is so sad, because I believe in my heart, Brookfield could be the best school to send your child to in Reno, but to be the best, I believe the Directors need to leave and let some real educators with credentials run their school.

We have a child at The Little Campus and Main Campus. Please come to the open house events in February and March to see what great dedicated teachers they have. How much the staff works on including everyone at snacks and lunches. All the kids over at middle school are even up out of there seats playing together at lunch. Wow. You have to see it in action.

I love this school. As a parent and a teacher I know that our teachers care and strive for the best for every student. At the middle school we are excited for our expanded space next month. The administration and teachers dedicate nights and weekends to the student's athletics and math/science events. Students are excited to have their own building and still have the facilities at the main school they can use.

Brookfield School is a tremendous place to teach. I love their philosophy of teaching the whole child. The academic program is excellent and includes areas that are not covered in public schools. All students participate in many special classes, including Violin, French, Spanish, Art, Drama, Music and Movement, P.E., Computers, and Library. The students are always eager to learn and participate in extra activities that are offered. The parents are involved in their children's education by communicating frequently with the staff and being present at school for events. I feel that we have a great team effort to provide the students with the best education available. I am impressed with the dedication of the staff. They have made me feel very welcome. The smaller class size allows us to work individually with each student to help them achieve the most out of their education. I feel valued and respected by the directors, staff, and parents. It is a pleasure to teach at Brookfield School.

I believe the negative reviews based on my own experience. My child attended the school in 2013-2014. The teacher was disorganized and distracted, arrived right when school started and was out the door when it ended. The facilities were poor. Instead of fixing a leaky gutter they just put out signs about watching out for the ice. The worst part of our experience was that there is a mean group of kids and teachers/administrators condone the behavior. The staff have their own children in the classes and their kids are popular so the administration looks the other way. The kids actually have an Outcast Lunch table for the kids who are not popular. The popular kids call the unpopular kids outcasts . When the school sets up the lunchroom, the outcast table for unpopular children is separated from the rest of the tables by the staff. My child still talks about how being an outcast for a whole year was preparation for being left out in junior high and high school. I wouldn t recommend sending any child to this school unless you want to prepare them to be excluded at a young age.

What do the directors do with all of the money they rake in? It is a dump, just like a review below stated. The bathrooms stink and are flooded half of the time, and the place is just generally run down. Teacher turnover is very high, and from what I've heard, lots of parents are seeking advice on other schools to attend, some even started homeschooling to get out of this place.

I am extremely disappointed in this school. As a professional in child psychology for 30 years, I will not allow my grandchild to attend a school which only promotes intolerance, unkindness. The stress put on these children is not conducive to a healthy environment. The administration rules with a iron hand and breaks children's spirits instead of helping them grow into happy, confident individuals. As a previous reviewer stated, the administration gauges child development by reading level, which is the most ridiculous way to determine preparedness and mental growth. I am aware that schools in Reno aren't the best, but that isn't excuse enough to mentally torture kids so the admin is able to reach its agenda of having high scores in comparison. A recent study by Harvard university states that whole child is developed when kindness and play are incorporated by making the learning environment fun and not by rigidness and terror.

Reading the negative comment made about Brookfield School, I find myself shocked. My granddaughter attended pre-K at the little campus last year and absolutely cannot wait to be at the main campus this fall. She had a wonderful, positive experience for her introduction to education at TLC, not to mention a teacher who can only be described as the perfect first educator in a child's life. My girl came home daily excited to share what she was learning - things that included learning how to tell time and the meaning of many of our holidays, such as Presidents' Day and Martin Luther King Day; these and many more lessons are not presented in public schools until maybe second grade, if ever. My family and I plan to keep my granddaughter in Brookfield for the long run - she is getting a superior education in a safe, caring environment. Brookfield School, their staff and administrators are the best Reno has to offer!

I have read the recent negative reviews of Brookfield School in absolute disbelief and I feel compelled to set the record straight. The Directors are not only outstanding educators, they are fair-minded individuals with the utmost integrity. Not only is the Administration not bullies; they have no tolerance for bullying in their school. Next fall will be our 5th year at this school and my experience has been nothing but positive. The Administrator and Educator s concern for my children s education is evidenced in how well they know and understand my sons. If you are considering sending your child to this school, take into consideration the negative reviews- they are TRUE. I read them but thought I'd give them the benefit of a doubt. Here we are at the end of the school year I've found the Administration to have extremely poor skills with the children & their staff. They are(uneducated in this field) unprofessional Adult Bullies. The school charges well over $980.00 a month per child. I would hope to see some qualified teachers that know how to make learning fun. Not our experience. They are extremely strict. One teacher went as far to tell a student that they don't know how to add. I've seen the confidence level in my child lower and other children who go their as well. They are not teaching confidence, independence and free thinking. They are creating followers at this school and not leaders. In this school year I've seen 4 children leave the school mid year and 4 teachers as well. Their Academics are high they are teaching a year ahead in each class-so if you are in 1st grade they are teaching 2nd grade curriculum. This is why you see test scores higher than other schools. We'll I gave it a good try. Live & learn :-)

Our son attended Brookfield School for 2 years and loved it. We were very impressed with the teachers and staff and the loving family environment they helped produce. We love the high academic standards they have beginning even in preschool. We have since moved out of state and our son loves his new school, but he often speaks fondly of Brookfield and still names his Pre K teacher as his "favorite teacher ever."

Poor facilities, money hungry and mean administration. They make kids scared instead of being nice to the kids. Zero confidence in most kids who go there. They brag about reading, who cares? everyone eventually ends up reading at the same level. Stay away from this trailer (literally) park school.

My children had a full education with caring teachers. I appreciate all the enrichment classes and events the children did. If you are wanting a best kept secret I recommend coming and visiting Brookfield school. I do believe they are full in most grades. The classrooms have a small student to teacher ratios. My children have both graduated with the invitations to take AP and honors classes in high school. They both became great public speakers. Goodby Brookfield and thanks!

Brookfield School has provided my kindergartner with a great educational foundation in reading, math, writing & so much more. Having the opportunity to read beyond her grade level has opened up her curiosity in all subjects and enhanced her enthusiasm for learning. This school is a dump! I am still wondering where all my hard earned money goes? Obviously not to maintaining a safe and happy environment for the students. I don't know how real these past 5 star reviews are considering they all are left in and around the same date of each other. Seems as if they are flooding this website with doctored positive reviews after each negative one which is ruining the integrity of the entire process. I have learned this past year as a parent that all this school cares about is the mighty dollar and they don't have your child's best interest at heart. Can't wait to get my son out. They brag about having white boards and computers that I haven't seen since I was a kid. Maybe they will end up upgrading to Commodore soon.

We love this school and send both of our children there, one at the TLC preschool campus and one at the main campus. The teachers are wonderful, and teach each child at their own level, while pushing them gently towards further academic success. There are too many clubs to mention, and I can't imagine sending our kids anywhere else. My older child says he likes it better than our zoned school because his classmates are nicer. Even though the buildings are smaller he does not seem to mind one bit. The teacher to student ratio is around 1:15, and that we just absolutely love. Academically, it is rigorous, but we feel it will prepare our children well for the future. The administration always addresses any concerns, and communicates frequently with the parents. And the PTA rocks, too! Thumbs up!

I have five children and have seen and experienced many preschools prior to moving to Reno two years ago. I am so glad we chose Brookfield for our then 4 year old. Having investigated many options, Brookfield was the obvious choice because not only did it have a truly well designed academic curriculum, the faculty and the staff (Mrs.B at TLC- amazing) create a warm and nurturing environment which is wonderfully supportive of the child and the parents! In our second year here, our junior kindergardener continues to grow in a community that takes pride in not only developing her academic talents but creating a lifelong love affair with school and learning. Our PTA is active and engaged with administration in a positive partnership. Our after school and extracurricular programs are the best I have ever seen. My child will be moving to the main campus in the fall as there is no other Kindergarden that we would consider based on our experience thus far.

Ok, I'll put it this way. Our child who you would definitely characterize as shy thrives at Brookfield. Why? Because the environment the staff from the directors and teachers, supporting staff to PTA produce brings out the best and most in the children. We feel very comfortable and confident that with Brookfield, we are laying the foundation for our child's successful development into secondary and post secondary schooling. We see it in our child, we see it in all the other children attending Brookfield and from what I see and hear, it is expressed by my fellow parents as well. Very simply, Brookfield produces an overachieving happy product. I don't know how it gets better than that:) "To infinity ... and beyond!"...

As a parent heavily involved in Brookfield school activities and volunteering since 2007, I can infer who the authors are of the recent negative reviews. My favorite is the parent who posted a horrible review basically claiming she hasn't seen her money's worth AFTER FIVE DAYS OF SCHOOL. These parents would not dedicate their time, money, and energy to this school if it weren't the best educational choice possible. Yes, it is not a New York City style private school, and honestly, I would not be here if it were. You send your kids to Brookfield for the academics and family feel of the school. You send your kids here because you can trust the teachers, staff, and administration because they live for these children. You send your kids here because they develop a love of reading and math and science. You send your kids here so they can have music, PE, art, foreign languages, and computers when their public school friends are seeing these programs cut. You send your kids to Brookfield because they won t get lost in a sea of hundreds of students. Come and visit the school if you have any doubts.

I love how our staff works together as a team to make sure our students achieve such a high level of academics. We have been attending Brookfield for 5 years now. Every year I am amazed at how much my children are learning. We love how the teachers are so compassionate and eager to help their students. Because of the small class sizes there is more attention spent with each individual child and because of this we are seeing our children learning one to two years ahead. My family has been at Brookfield School for 6 years. BF offers a challenging curriculum for grades Preschool to 8th. The small class size has helped my children thrive and grow well beyond grade level. My first grade student this year is reading at a 4th grade level. It is a testament to our dedicated teachers and administration. Simply stated, we have teachers, administration and parents who are committed to student success. Our test scores prove this each year. I have been a teacher for many years, both in the public school system and in private schools. Working at Brookfield School has been a wonderful experience. We have adminsitrators that listen to our concerns and act upon them. Our PTA and other families take an active role in school improvement programs, as well as volunteering to help when we are in need. Brookfield's curriculum is exceptional in that it allows the teaching staff to work within the curriculum, and teach to the individual students in the way they learn best. I have never before worked with such professional individuals as the teaching staff at Brookfield. What a wonderful school.

I have two boys with very distinct personalities & learning styles. They re both thriving in various areas of growth & development at Brookfield. Forming a positive, desire to learn early on, sets the standard for future school experiences. BF provides a safe, loving, & structured environment making learning fun. BF offers teaching strategies & a curriculum to meet the needs of a variety of learners. BF was the only school I interviewed to produce a curriculum! Other pre-schools danced around the question, What is your curriculum? In addition to what I find as an effective and challenging curriculum, the manner in which it is presented to students is impressive. Tour the school and one will see engaged learners! One of my sons began reading at 3 , & BF keeps up with his desire to learn. My other son was interested in playing & socializing. BF fostered this interest & has stimulating his desire to learn new things. Teaching Special Education, it s become increasingly clear, teaching a stimulating & challenging foundation as early as possible is imperative. I believe early education builds the bridge for future learning. Thus, teaching a year ahead, which BF offers, is invaluable.

I wanted to know my children were not only in a school offering a challenging learning environment; I wanted to know my boys were nurtured and cared for in a loving manner. My boys are greeted daily with a big smile, and they leave thanking their teacher with a huge hug. If one of my boys is missing me, I know their teacher is there giving them a hug and making them feel loved. As an educator and parent, teaching our children to grow and develop socially is of utmost importance. I ve seen my two boys move from parallel play to cooperative play earlier than anticipated! Don t get me wrong, they bicker and fight; however, I have seen their relationships grow between themselves and their friends outside of school. Finally, I ve found all staff to be professional and responsive to my numerous questions and comments! The education my boys are getting at BF is a partnership and exceptional. BF is not only a school, it s a community dedicated to a common goal for all of our children.

As a Brookfield teacher, I've had a wonderful experience. I am consistently impressed with the professionalism and quality of instruction from my co-workers. I appreciate the opportunity to encourage our students to reach higher standards and goals in reading, math and beyond. As a teacher, the smaller class sizes provide me with ample opportunity for 1-on-1/small group differentiation. Overall, I've had very positive experiences with our Brookfield families as well- they are generally involved and committed to student success. I have worked for Brookfield School for 8 years. I have watched TLC grow from 12 children to over 90 this year. I feel it has grown because of the quality of teachers and staff no other pre-school in the Reno area can be compared. I can only say for me that the owners and directors are fully committed to making this school the best in education and have always been supportive in training and continious improvements for the childrens needs and staff education. When my 4 year old started teaching herself to read, Brookfield was the only preschool in Reno offered a curriculum that met her needs. My daughter enrolled at in Jr-K as a shy little girl who hated change and has blossomed into a confident student willing to try anything, even acting! I was so impressed with the teachers, curriculum, and school community that I enrolled my 5th grader in January. The changes I ve seen with her are just as impressive. She loves Brookfield. She is happy to go to school. She gets up in the morning without prompting, gets dressed, gathers her materials, eats breakfast, and is ready to go without complaint. She comes home from school with stories about her day! How many 5th graders do you know who want to talk about what they are learning in class? She postpones play dates until she finishes her homework. She has become totally responsible for managing her school career without prompting. I knew Brookfield was the right choice for my children academically; but I never expected to witness my children blossom in so many other areas. Our family loves Brookfield.

The scary thing about school review websites is that anyone can review any school. You don't have to go there, know anything about it, or even live in the same state. You can be a family from another private school or a former employee with a chip on your shoulder. With that said, I am a mother of two at Brookfield School. We are at our fourth year at this school. We moved from a large eastern city to Reno and chose the school for the full-time kindergarten program. We were a public school family and had no intentions of staying. Brookfield changed our minds in less than five months. I am grateful for all they have given my children academically and socially. We had great experience at TLC and now at the K-8 campus. The teachers we have had honestly care about our children...and still do a few years later. We have made such good friends at this school and I am proud to be a Brookfield mom. I know we are giving our children the best academics in the area and I know they love the school.

I have two kids at Brookfield (one at the main school & one at the Little School). I have found Brookfield's environment to be caring, welcoming & academically challenging for my children. The small class sizes are a tremendous advantage and my kids regularly recieve quality feedback and direction. Parental involvement is high. My children have attended school in other states/districts and, overall, Brookfield ranks right up at the top. I find the staff to be engaging, pleasant, and committed to my children's academic performance.

Brookfield is an amazing school. It is refreshing to be part of a school that can accommodate the top-tier academic students by challenging them and allowing them to grow to their potential, no matter how high, as well as the students who struggle and require more one-on-one academic support. We have been here for over 5 years and have seen all of our children become well-rounded kids great in the classroom and great at social activities. The complaints I hear on the playground are from parents who think their tuition should buy them the right to boss teachers and staff around like their servants. These are truly the minority as most of the parents here are working hard to enable the children to have this experience. It s worth every dime to come here when you see your child s SAT scores and his/her reading levels. It s wonderful to hear them talking about fractions and division in grades where their public school friends are adding. The teachers are the best you will find anywhere. They are professional. They are here for the children.

In all honesty, I hear so many complaints re: Brookfield (even from staff/teachers). The owners/upper mgt.,spend more time "drinking" according to the teachers of lower education (pre-school). Do they care about their kids?The teachers that have friends/family, allow their kids to come for free, therefore costing the paying parents "more $$$". If you don't believe, check their school records & see who pays & who doesn't. There is so much back-stabbing between teachers/owners, don't know who to believe. I DO NOT agree with the staffs kids coming for free when some aren't even Reno residents. Pop in & visit the younger kids classes (2,3&4-yr. olds). Have to wonder about the teachers. Once again, a lot of "back stabbing". My children don't need this..... very concerned parent!

I am a current Brookfield parent and I could not be happier with the school. My child is thriving - she is academically challenged, happy, and looks forward to going to school each day. I have found the teachers and curriculum to be challenging and creative. We love the small class size, and I feel my child gets a lot of 1:1 attention. We have especially enjoyed the sense of community with the teachers and other parents at Brookfield. We have made many close friends from Brookfield over the past few years and I cannot tell you how happy I am to really know my child's friends, as well as their parents. It gives me great piece of mind to know that my child is surrounded by families with the same morals and expectations as ours. I have to say I was quite surprised to read the negative reviews of Brookfield on here. We have had a very different experience with Brookfield. My advice is to visit the school for yourself and make your own judgement. If you are looking for quality private education for your child I would definitely visit Brookfield School.

Our child is attending Brookfield for the first time...so far I am still wondering where the additional fees of close to 600.00 are being spent. I have yet to see any of the folders from the long list if supplies that were requested. Our childs teacher doesn't want to be bothered with any questions. The administrative staff was very accommodating while interviewing the school, now they can't be bothered. The additional money that is requested on a daily basis is rediculous! We feel like it was a "bait and switch". I was literally asked to leave my child's classroom while he was showing me his desk. Our son has had a wonderful foundation for learning, being creative, etc., prior to attending Brookfield. I feel like his feelings are changing based on the dynamics and rigid structure of this school. We are very dissapointed and feel the pricing is absolutely absurd for what the school actually delivers! I feel horrible that we made this decision and are now stuck until Spring!

This is terrible and awful school concerning teachers and management of school. All good things come from parents. the school hears parents' complaining but won't change anything. You should look at the old and out dated school supplies and buildings. They are only interested in money raising businesses!

I have one child attending this school, and am considering sending my pre-schooler to their TLC campus. From an academic point of view I give Brookfield 5 STARS*****. They are very strong in their Math and Reading. The PTA Rocks and has raised money more than ever. With the money raised, the PTA has purchased Smart-Boards and iPads.They do lack focus on the arts and music. From and administration point of view I give Brookfield 1 STAR *. Their front and principal offices are a mess, the admin makes constant errors in your monthly statement. Some of the teachers are very friendly and accommodating to the needs of your child. Unfortunately not all share this quality. The school building is in poor condition and is a shame especially for the amount of money you give to put your child to this school! If you are looking for a strong academic school, then Brookfield shines out. But that is all you're getting. Overall I am pleased with the results my child has achieved.

Brookfield is an exceptional school for this area. I am very pleased with the academic and social strides my 2 kids have made over the last two years. I have spent some time observing the classroom behavior and interaction between the teachers and students and have consistently been impressed. The teachers and aides are held to a very high standard of professionalism in addition to their teaching abilities. I have received continuos feedback on my children's progress in addition to semi-annual meetings with the teachers. I love the incorporation of energy, enthusiasm and play with the curriculum so much so that my kids look forward to attending school. The PTA is outstanding in their commitment to all the students as they have surpassed my expectations of service. This past school year the PTA brought in top notch technology upgrades to both campuses. Everyone from the owners to the aides in the classrooms are highly accessible and helpful at any given time. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for an environment which fosters creativity, encourages excellence and promotes citizenship for their children.

Brookfield is a great learning environment! This might not be the school for everyone but you will know if it fits your family when you visit. The staff and administration are great at getting to know each child and making individual learning tracks. Yes, it's a private school and the costs reflect that but you get what you pay for. The academics are rigorous and the expectations are high. Small classes, great acceleration where needed, good options for extra curricular activities, a very active PTA for a small school, and a wonderful mix of students. A recent addition of smart boards to each classroom is a wonderful addition, the children also get regular PE, language, music, hands-on science, regular field trips and Friday whole school assemblies that are very inclusive and exciting for the kids. The school also highly encourages Accelerated Reading program with awards, weekly recognitions and other wonderful incentives to keep the children reading. Overall, a terrific learning and social environment for our children. Very happy with our decision to enroll our children at the school.

Brookfield is a great school with caring teachers, faculty and parent support. They have a new smart board system for each class. The class sizes are small and the attention the students receive is awesome. Each student learns french, computers and art in addition to the basics - math, reading, science, social studies and creative writing. We are pleased with our decision to send our children to Brookfield.

We have a great community of excited and eager students, parents, teachers, and staff. We have the smallest classrooms in Reno with certified teachers. Academic success is measured every year for every child with achievement tests. You have to see how much learning goes on every day to believe it!

NOT worth the money and not a "high-end" school at all, as the principal likes to think. Experienced teachers have left and new inexperienced teachers are rather immature. Not much emphasis on developmental level of children; poor emphasis on positive reinforcement. Teachers are not enthusiastic or excited to teach. Poor condition of buildings. Limited educational materials. Computers are from 80s. One of the second grade teachers likes to argue with 4-5 year-old kids!

OLD SHED-LIKE buildings, small and poorly maintained classrooms. Computers are indeed from 80s; headsets are heavier than children's heads. It's laughable to hear that principle calls it a "high-end school". Pushing above grade level work doesn't make kids smarter; with repetition anyone can learn. But the creativity and joy of learning cannot be taught with boring and inexperienced teachers. Poor materials, no emphasis on individuality and creativity. I sit in a pre-first grade classroom; teacher shut the children up in almost every occasion; didn't answer simple questions. No respect to little ones. SAD!
