This school has truly let me down. The expectation was that this was an uplifting performing arts academy it hasn’t lived up to any of those standards the teachers are rude & the school has been on many lockdowns it’s really not a good school my daughter won’t be returning. They give MBI out and when you respond because it is uncommon for my child to get them. I get no response. I am livid

This school is horrible they suspended u for no reason they suspended me for the most dumbest thing ever all they care about is money these poor teacher don’t even get paid enough kids suck there is hella bully’s they only care about dress code and Ids like are we serious I went here for all my 3 years suffer ever day I hated it but I had no other option to stay the school lunch sucks this school is not very good if u want ur kid to have a bright future I recommend a better school not close to a park to hella homeless one time when I was in that school there was a homeless man IN THE SCHOOL how scary is that right ? I don’t know man just don’t go to this school give ur child a better opportunity for a better school.

I went here for all three years of middle school and in the first year I found myself not wanting to go almost every day. The students are fine, small drama just like any other school. The staff was my problem. Most of their staff has been there for a few years and feel incredibly entitled and have major power trips. The encore teachers are great, except for a few. There hasn't been a time yet where I've looked back and said, "Dang, I miss that school." Staff is also unfair, they let a few things pass based off of who you are. They definitely favor the more popular kids. I hope this school can get better teachers soon. Besides everything, I did learn and excel at KO.

In my opinion this school helps me a lot and I always keep my grades up the issue is the kids really don't wanna learn and other kids follow them so at the end they all not end up learning anything.

Ko Knudsen is a horrible school do not send your children here . Teachers are rude and unqualified some have even been caught smoking in the restroom . Teachers also have a lack of personal space and are very rude for no reason . The entire staff was convinced the school would be gang-run the school is also not in a good part of town with school shooting alerts every month. there is a park right next to the school where many people middle and high-school skip do drugs ect their are also a lot of gang violence around the neighbor hood along with homeless people all around the school .

Mi hija va a esta escuela y por desgracia mi hija es una de tantos alumnos con problemas emocionales y falto por ir a tomar terapias y en estos momentos quieren reprobar a mi hija ,no le quieren alludar a retomar esos exámenes y no es justo porque esto la escuela lo sabe y no quieren alludar.

Unorganized and do not work with the parents or inform them of anything. Teachers are miserable and aren't nice to the students.

The school teachers are okay genuinely. The students are definitely a issue though. I go to that school and it is pretty ordinary, only one teacher really stood out to me and was actually caring for peoples physical and mental health. she is an amazing teacher and i am very happy she successing as a person directing shows and teaching all the kids her craft. It is obviously the bare minimum, but she just seems to enjoy her job more then others. i understand there are terrible children, and i know that because i expirenced them threatening to jump kids, they ditch, they were really a bad impact on my mental state to be completely honest. i dont completly recommend this school only because most and not all children really impacted my life and not in a good way. i hope all of you do find a good school for your children though. also, do not forget to check in on them. since we are homeschooling, i still think the kids are kind of disruptive, a lot of them don't even go, or just crash random classes to annoy the teacher. i do hope the best for this school, but i just know i am definitely not coming back next year. also, i am an asian child, and i lot of the time the children would call me names about the virus, and saying to go eat doh and it was not very plesant.

I will be going to K.O. Knudson Middle school this fall and I am so excited. I went to their open house and it was way more that I expected. I would like to learn more about!

I am currently a student at KO and I must say I'm not impressed. This school is supposed to be creative arts and there's supposed to be opportunities, but when I enrolled I assumed that there would be more up-to-date technology like my elementary magnet school. One other thing is the disorganization, your always wondering what's going on. For example: basketball my friends and I wanted to try out, so we asked the office, they said ask to coach during lunch, so we tried but were not allowed to go in the hallways during lunch. So I went to the website, they had tryout dates from last year! And one last thing, the staff can be cruel. Currently I am going through tons of conversations with me teacher, and why she's saying I got an F on a test that I got an A on. After you get over all the negative parts, KO can be pretty awesome.

My School is amazing they always do their best to help students achieve their goals! My teachers always helped me when i was stuck and they gave me the strength and courage to carry on, helped me, and encouraged me to reach my goals! This is a great school they enforce dress code and all school rules, all the staff are very encouraging and have a great sense of humor even people in the Main Office. Our school needs improving on the actual building. K.O. Knudson M.S. celebrated the 50th Anniversary in the year 2012. Our school is run down and i hope that if we win this 5k we can remodel the school even slightly! This is a wonderful school as we know it and it would be an Opportunity of a life time to enhance the schools' awesomeness! In the school year of 2012-2013 as a 6th grader i had the best time at school that I have ever had LEARNING!! Sure, at times it was a little rough but my friends and all the wonderful Staff got me through it with a smile... At this school everyone has one thing in common with YOU. Performing Arts!! I hope anyone that goes to this school has fun learning and participating in the school activities, field trips, and much more! K.O. is full of DREAMS

I am about to become a student at K.O. Knudson and I'm really excited to become one of the cougars! I am a magnet student! My passion is for performing arts and I knew that magnet school would be perfect with performing arts when my guidance counselor talked about it in my 5th grade class at Patricia A. Bendorf Elementary School(I recommend it because it's a 2011 Blue Ribbon School and it is a 5 Star Rated School). I hope that K.O. will be an amazing experience!
