unfortunately i moved here during my junior year of highschool i would NOT recommend this school to new incomers of westbury the teachers are rude, students are racist, lack of diversity, teachers dont teach, all over awful.

This the worst school district i have ever seen teachers dont act like teachers no wonder why kids dont pay attention and they call themselves Teachers just to get pay they dont show any interest of teaching and the school its discustinng theres organizations at all

Two of my three children are graduates of the high school. So many resources were available to them as well as moral support. The teachers, coaches and advisers were all very caring.

This school cultivates leaders and the teachers (many from the town or nearby) have deep rooted concern and interest in the students potential and ultimately, their success. It is proof that the school raises students to be leaders and concerned community members because throughout the community the schools are filled with teachers who are alumnae. As adults we come back and give workshops and information sessions on how we made it and what we are working on now and just helpful hints, because we care. Those are the kinds of students that Westbury High School helps develop! Class of 2002 :-)

Westbury High School is an excellent school with good leadership if a student wants to succeed and thrive they can do it there. Last night I attended a seminar for students interested in engineering which the high school prepare students for, the seminar was hosted by Bucknell University a college of engineering, I was impressed with some of the students. After reading negative things about this school I almost send my child to private school but I decided to give it a chance and I am not sorry. This school needs parents involvement if a parent don't care then the child most likely will not. This is a very very diverse school and I can see why some Old Westbury residents opt for private sometimes we are afraid to have our children in certain environment but at some point in their lives they are face with the things we sheild them from. I recommend this High School if your child wants to succeed and you as a parent is willing to get involved in your children lives they will succeed at any school they attend. Parents lets get involve and make Westbury High School a desirable school. The teachers and tools are there.

Westbury High School has a excellent learning criteria that challenges the students to reach their full potential and strive for the best. The students a encouraged by a great teaching staff that help student to get a deeper understanding of the material at hand. The school has a very vast amount of students eager to learn and strive for excellence. To strive for a much greater future.
