Property values continue to decline and the scores are not the level of schools south of them. It begs the question as to whether the school should be merged with another district.

Out of the class of 2013, I witnessed the poor quality of this school. Teachers letting students leave class and roam the halls to meet up with their friends. The teachers lack any discipline to correct or discipline any students. They would rather pass on students up grades so they never had to deal with them again. Almost all teachers have a disregard of dress code. During the 2013 rehearsal for graduation we were given two simple rules to abide by; khakis/dress pants and dress shoes. Dress shoes were provided in case anyone would forget to bring their own. It took only 5 students to walk in with shorts and flip flops and sneakers to completely let the teachers to let them go. If they can't even enforce that one rule, what other rules could the students not be following? The absolute sickest thing about Northridge is the offering of the SIS program. I understand that some students make be deficient in credits; like I had to take gym due to going to CTC, but when students are failing, they throw them into SIS and jut pass them on easily with a C average. What is even worse is that a tenth of the 2013 class was wearing the SIS cords and were actually proud. It is so sickening.

I grew up going to Northridge schools from 2nd grade through 9th grade. I had a lot of friends, participated in sports, took honors courses, and enjoyed the school very much. We moved to Vandalia-Butler Schools my 10th grade year and I had the worst experience ever! I went from a laid back, friendly environment, that gave students plenty of opportunity to broaden their horizons both academically and athletically to a school full of cliques and stuck-up people.I am a female that wrestled for Northridge, and now wrestle for college, because Northridge gave me that opportunity. Peer harassment kept me from wrestling for Butler. I wish I never had left Northridge because people that attend and/or live in Northridge are more down-to-earth people that aren't worried about how much monetary value a person is worth, unlike Vandalia...

My daughter joined Northridge High School last year when the disrict impleminted the open enrollment for the School system. Northridge High School has been a God Send for my daughter. My teen ager is in the special need program at Norhridge and I know she would not be doing as well as she is if she were attending High school anywhere else.The remedial program at Northridge is great and the teachers are amazing. I would like to thank Northridge's principal for his wonderful heart and the dedicated teacher for all they do for our children.
