the Fairborn school system as a whole get underrated the staff and teachers for the most part have been fantastic. I have had 4 kids in the system (1 already graduated) with no major complaints about any of the schools

I went to Fairborn City Schools and am now a teacher in the district. Fairborn is a wonderful community filled with a lot of diversity, friendly people, and wonderful, passionate teachers!

The problems in Fairborn City Schools are not simply with specific teachers or even specific schools, it is a district wide failure to take pride in providing children with the best education possible with the resources available. The schools aren't aweful, they aren't violent, the teachers do show up and teach, and the kids are learning stuff but it takes more than that to be a good school. This district will continue to struggle until they figure out how to dig out the appathy and 'I don't care' attitude that has poluted to district.
