I feel Oakview has a great Principle and staff, my daughter had a very successful 1st grade experience.

My daughter's finishing up her 1st grade year with Mrs. Schwegman at Oakview. I can't express enough how impressed I am with my daughters growth in school this year. I know my daughters success is due to Mrs. Schwegman's wonderful teaching skills and kind nature. Thank you Oakview and a very special thank you to Mrs. Schwegman!

We have two boys Quintin and Carter and they have both had a wonderful experience at Oakview. Wonderful teachers and a great principal and the secretary Julie is a great asset as well. We absolutely love Oakview and can not say enough great stuff about this school! TOP NOTCH!

My granddaughter went to kindergarten at another, larger Kettering school...and hated it. For first grade, we put her in Oakview - and she is now in 3rd and doing great. Loves the school, and we have good communication with the teachers. While no school is perfect, and there will always be "that one teacher", or children that just don't do well, I feel Kettering does a great job. And coming from a family of educators, that is saying a lot!

OAKVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IS THE BEST SCHOOL FOR MY FAMILY! My 3 kids who currently attend love they're teacher's, staff, friend's, and all the parent's they meet. They love learning because the teacher's make it so exciting and as a parent I am so happy with my kid's progress because of Oakvie's concern, patience, and interest in my children's education. I would like to see the outside field's and inside gym used for after-school intermeral's available free to ALL Oakview Student's; ran by teacher, staff, community, and parent volenteer's; equiptment paid for ny donation's! And I'd like to see after school free tutoring programs possably held in the cafeteria, library, or wherever in Oakview building, also with the help of volenteer's. I have many ideas but need to get involved myself so keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to sharing many more year's together with Oakview!
