My experience at cimmaron is not good. Some teachers are extremely rude for no absolute reason and my experience with a certain bus is almost even worse, the bus 114 driver is very rude and she yells too much. The principal is nice and when teachers are not around controlling your every move the school is fine but other than that its not so good. And the bathroom rule is very confusing they say no one can go the first ten minutes but some teachers get upset when you go during passing period. And some teachers get mad at kids for basically literally being kids for example laughing, and I get if there was work going on but when were not doing anything like before school starts we shouldnt get in trouble especially when were not being loud.

My older children attend this remarkable educational institution, where values of respect, kindness, order, and a commitment to following rules stand as fundamental pillars in the students' developmental journey. I am immensely thankful to the entire staff for their dedication and hard work, as they provide an unparalleled quality of service. Additionally, I express the hope that school funds increase every year, enabling us to continue educating the children in our community.

The teachers taught well, everyone is so nice, and the academics and performing arts programs were given the same amount of respect as sports and cheer (at least that's the way it was 2 years ago when I was a student there). Favoritism was never really a problem for me (especially as a kid who was in theatre) and coaches who did sports (I was in cross country) let you do the things your body needed during sports, such as stopping to walk, getting a drink of water, etc. I can't tell you how much I loved that, as someone who has breathing problems and NEEDS it. My new school won't let me do that (I moved). Also I always felt safe there, like the teachers genuinely cared about me and they did NOT put up with bullying.

This school develops strong character in its students because not only your teaching things the students need to learn but your teaching them/preparing them for life. There could be some ups and downs but you know what we can get over it.

Our principal(s) are very welcoming and will help you with anything it doesnt matter if it's helping you finding your class or just needing someone to talk to they will help. Anyone can teach you how to be a leader it can even be your fellow classmates.

Some students may come from a school who does their learning differently than others, but the teachers understand where they are coming from and will help them with anything when it comes to learning. Some teachers might even let the student show the class on how to do what they did when they was at a different school.

Cimarron DEALS with bullying NO MATTER WHAT!!! Bullying is something no one should do especially to people who done nothing wrong to you. Bullying is something they do not tolerate at Cimarron Middle School. The adults will deal with the problem. All you need is someone to be the bigger person and go to the adult. Never try to fight a bully or even try to commnicate with the bully. But you always try to tell the bully to stop and leave you alone. Try not to give the bully any expressions to seem like your going to cry because that is just what the bully wants. When the bully leaves you may cry all you want but just make sure you tell a adult.

My child has an individualized education plan due to serious medical issues, the faculty and staff accommodated my student in a timely manner during a difficult and confusing time for our family. Central Middle School also in Edmond should take note of Cimarron's eagerness to educate ALL students in a professional yet comfortable environment filled with knowledgeable faculty and staff

Some pretty awesome teachers, good follow up and contact. Bullying not allowed/accepted. Any issues are addressed immediately. Staff is very responsive.

Great school. Having taught there for 26 years, it has had it's changes. Out of all the middle schools in Edmond, this is the one I would always recommend no matter what. It has great students, faculty and staff.

The teachers are fantastic, but the students are very rude nowadays. A lot of bullies go on in school yet the principal won't do anything about it but the vice principal does. A lot of students there are very educated. I was a student there once; my 8th grade teachers were awesome and I found my real friends there. Beware of busy hallways and teachers being very strict about being tardy(only some teachers). Do not worry about your child on the first day of school, he or she will do fantastic on the first day of 6th grade.

Everybody is so friendly. It's not such a stuggle fitting in. All of my siblings went to Cimarron for middle school. All of us have been successful in what we wanted to achieve. The teachers taught us that it's okay to ask questions if you don't understand.

All my children have been to Cimmaron, and they all agree it was better than high school and elementary school. This school has given my family great joy! I recommend this school to all!
