PROS:
7th grade teachers are nice
Not that much hw
Popular kids don't get in trouble
CONS:
Admin does not take reports seriously
The food is absolutely vile
504s repeatedly violated
The teachers don't teach well
.....................
My time at this school has been... interesting. Admin is terrible, just like the rest of North Penn schools. My brand new bag was broken by kids in 7th grade, and I had to threaten Admin with a report for them to actually check footage- they tried to play it off as "boys will be boys". Kids would block me in the halls in 8th grade, and they didn't care until teachers literally couldn't pass because there was a wall of teenage girls interlocking arms and cackling. Of course, we also had the Stanley incident, where someone was sent to the hospital because she was attacked. The girl who'd attacked her had a history of defiance, as she'd just been transferred to PB after being expelled from all other NP middle schools. Kids reported her for threats and concerning behavior, but Admin did nothing. The day of the attack, I'd even heard kids saying that something was going to happen at lunch. Afterwards, they did not provide sufficient help for those traumatized. And whatever you've heard, it's worse. I can't explain the details, but from what I've been told in eyewitness accounts the news does not do justice. I do not trust the Admin to protect me, and I'd advise you don't, too.

Teachers and administrators allow children to be threatened and beat all while knowing the events were to occur and were planned out prior to the incident. Don’t send you children here they are not safe!!!

This school stinks. Cause in the bathrooms people are splashing water all over the place. I hate it. Students here are also rude.

For my level, not to much, just enough. We have Penn Time or lunch study to do our work also.

They have a great sustem of teachers, principals are great. Also the school is smaller so it can be easily monitered.

Worst school ever. When i was in sixth grade, me and my whole grade took PSSA's to go to the middle school so they could see where to place us. On the PSSA's they grade you from below basic(lowest)4.0,basic(low)4.0,Proficient(Average)5.0, and advanced(above average)6.0 honors. I got proficient but they put me in 4.0 classes. I figured, colleges don't look at school untill 9th grade so maybe i could bump it up by then. In seventh grade I got into the wrong crowd because 4.0's is filled with a bunch of kids who dont care about school. I ended up getting expelled on February 23rd 2011, I remember that day all the time. I came back the beginning of 8th grade and did average B's so i knew they wernt going to put me in honors but i got into honors science for 9th grade. And then in 9th grade i did awesome, I got mostly A's and like 4 B's. Since i have an IEP i had a meeting towards the end of the year for my classes in the upcoming year. I wanted to be in all honors which i worked hard for, but the school refused. So now im going into 10th grade, extremely depressed and only taking 2 honors while my friends continue to succeed in all of their classes. I will always hate you Pennbrook.

my school is the best school ever. we have so many fun things. like spirit day when we get tho wear or favorite hats or wear our favorite sports team shirt. we also have this thing called red and blue day. the school gets divided into two colors red and blue. and the teams go up against each other in a few games. luckily i was on the red team and we won. the seventh graders go to Philadelphia as a field trip. 8th graders go to Hershey park and 9th graders go to Washington d.c. our school is really fun.

My experience with Pennbrook has been very positive. Principals, counselors, and teachers put a great deal of heart into guiding the students. I would recommend to anyone:-)

Well, where to begin. How about sixth grade orientation. At first, I was like the school is terrible, then, I said the school is horrible. Seventh and eighth grades were THE worst years of my life. Lunch food is disgusting. The building is in poor condition, the school put many of the students in danger with Mr. Hurst, teachers and guidance counselors are terrible, and the students...OHH THE STUDENTS. IMMATURE, BULLIES, DRAMA QUEENS, INAPPROPRIATE, ANY OTHER NEGATIVE SYNONYM CAN EASILY FIT THE STUDENTS. I go to La Salle now (1,000,000,000 better than PB) andI can say that whenever our football team wins, they tell us to shut up, but win they win and we talk about how our team will bounce back, they just shut us upand think they're tough. They need to learn how to be mature and know how to take a win or loss against someone; they're not the real deal in the world, they're just teenage students. Halfway through my sophomore year at LSCHS has been way better than attending PB during orientation day.
