I am extremely disappointed in this school and the way it has handled serious safety issues involving my daughter. She went through months of severe bullying, including kids threatening to jump her and other students trying to sell her what they claimed were fentanyl-laced vapes. Despite multiple reports, nothing meaningful was done to protect her or stop the behavior. On top of that, the school failed to take appropriate action when intimate photos of a 14-year-old student were leaked. A situation that should have been treated as an urgent and serious matter. Instead, it was brushed aside, and the students responsible faced little to no consequences. The environment here is genuinely toxic. Too many of the kids are cruel, and the lack of accountability only makes it worse. My daughter deserved a safe place to learn, and this school did not provide that. I would not recommend sending your child here until major changes are made.

Shippensburg Senior High School is a great place to learn and develop into adulthood. They offer many opportunities to explore furthering your education and also have many opportunities to develop if you plan to go into the workforce following graduation. The school also has tremendous school spirit in all of their extra curricular activities. The teachers and administrators really care about their students and help them become the best they can be.

My children had and are having a positve experience with the Shippensburg schools. The "hands on" learning style of most of the teachers is greatly appreciated!

The quality of the academic programs is based heavily on the great abilities of the teachers to encourage learning in their classrooms. Most extracurricular activities are available and even some that I have not seen in other schools.
