The councilors here at BMSE are amazing and so are all of the teachers. School is so much fun and I always love going everyday. I am in 8th grade right now so it's the end of BMSE and I had a great experience. This school is definitely fun if you have the right grade, if your grade combined with the other schools are not very well behaved then the year might be rough. My grade have behavioural issues which is fine but it is more exciting. I would recommend to practice locker locks because about half of the lockers are old and don't work very well. The lunches are great and you have the chance to decide how much you want to eat with the amount of money you have. The special education at BMSE is amazing. Every child gets their own helper and they help them throughout the day. When I see them in their room or in the hallways they are always having so much fun and learning so much. I love BMSE and I would definitely recommend this school! Hope you come and have an amazing experience!

I would love to give the school 5 stars but the athletic department is pathetic. My child played ball in their 8th grade year. The Coach was the most biased individual I ever wanted to meet. She stressed the importance of fun first but never allowed some players to play. The athletic director rides the coattails of his family in Pottstown and has the professionalism of a child. He cannot form an intelligent sentence and speaks like a thug on the street. The assistant Superintendent as the same mentality. I will say the Principal at is East is simply amazing and most teachers are excellent. The special education department does well but they need to be less concerned with funding. The testing for special education is antiquated and they rely on a computer based grading system to assess children. Bullying certainly exists but then again, where doesn't? Overall, I can't say anything against the teachers or Principal but the administration is horrific and the special education department needs an overhaul.
