I struggled to get my children's teachers to communicate routinely over a two year period. Some did a great job, others failed to send basic information directly to the parents and relied on lower elementary school children to ensure their parents were informed.
Requests for IEP's, and testing were ignored, then postponed. Requests for meetings were met with an "we are working on that" but then no follow up.

We haven't had any issues and am not aware of any bullying going on.

We are a military family who moves frequently. This can take a toll on kid. Mooreland elementary is exceptional at making kids feel like they belong. My son loved his class and teacher from the first week. He is a very smart child and they were able to keep him engaged without any set backs. He rolled right into the school year like he'd been going there all along. I thank the teachers and staff for being so caring and catering to the many military and international children that attend this great school.

There are many international students at this school. There are a few in my son's class room and they are flourishing thanks to the teachers and staff.

Love the teachers. They teach and help each child understand things at their own level.

The homework is adequate. The children are not overloaded with assignments but get enough to become proficient in the subject they are learning.

This school is amazing. Because of the heavy international attendance from Post, the ESL/Speech programs and expert availability is better than we have seen at any previous school. The main positive is the principle and teachers who truly care about the kids.
