My son has special needs and the school has fought against us at every turn. We have caught them not adhering to his legally binding 504 contract on several occasions, the principal attempted to ignore a timely request for evaluation (which is illegal), they lost my sons elementary school records, and my child was denied special education services despite having met every single piece of criteria the state requires. This districts administration is the biggest joke I have ever seen in education. The principal also told us that they refused special education largely in part because of the districts budget; as if being told that dollar signs were the deciding factor made it okay. Parents beware of this sad excuse for an educational institution.

Completely remodelled in 2014, this school is state of the art. Excellent first year American Education system experience for my son, a Canadian. Every resource is available at Lamberton for your child to excel academically: passionate, experienced teachers, current technology, interesting and relevant subjects, a committed administration, available learning aides. Sprinkle in lots of sports and arts programs with welcoming staff and students, and your child will have a very well-rounded experience. Lamberton sets the bar high. We're sorry to leave.

Lamberton Middle School is a fantastic school with a administration that is engaged with the students, the teachers/staff, and parents! My child is on the Autism Spectrum, and I have been SO PLEASED with the teachers and Autism Support Staff because they have been able to focus and target those areas where my daughter needs support, without smothering her. She is challenged academically, and receives academic and homework help when she requests it. She has been able to participate in extra-curricular activities (Choir) and take electives (our last school district required her to be in a basic skills class even though her functional level was far above that). I feel that the principal, Mr. Colestock, and vice principal, Mr. Gogoj are engaged with the staff and are responsive to parents. The 8W Team--led by Mr. Kiehl, with Mrs. Akujobi, Ms. Surkosky, Mr. Dietrich, Ms. Fendrich, Ms. Schalles--are responsive to questions and comments from me. Additional classes taught by Ms. Bair, Ms. Maag, Ms. Chizmar, Ms. D'Urso, Ms. Treffinger, Mr. Ross, Mr. Over, Mrs. Gogoj were a great as well!! The Autism Support staff--led by Cherie Kiehl--were fantastic!!
