This is the worst school I have ever had to deal with, My son has a 504 which is never followed. Poor communication and this school punishes children by taking them out of the classroom getting social workers and school phycologist involved in which my wife and I were never informed until days later. The teacher has poor communication, The principal likes to send emails about incidents without giving a proper reasoning for pulling your child out of class. Everything is one sided they refuse parent meetings to resolve issues, They want to push their meeting out when you request them only at what fits their schedule. This school complains more than any other district and something as simple as "Rock, paper, chutes" I get complaint calls. Nobody wants to hear your input on the situation and this school likes to point fingers in one direction. I highly do NOT recommend this school at all

Quidnessett has come a long way with new supportive administration, both at the school and district level. The new principal clearly believes in the whole child approach and is supportive of students, families and staff. Having a full-time Social Worker and School Psychologist has helped to increase the much needed SEL supports and initiatives over the last few years. Students feel connected and engagement is increasing as the teachers at Quid work tirelessly and go above and beyond to nurture a safe and supportive learning environment for all. Their school pledge calls for safety, responsibility and respect from and for all and this is evident in the school culture both day-to-day and in how challenging situations that may arise are handled.

This school is trying to change districts but keep your kids away. The students hit each other and the teachers look the other way or they send them to get a prize. The role models are even worse for the kids at the school all the teachers talk poorly about one another in front of the students leaving the kids to have a free for all because they dont respect any authority figure. Overall this school is run horribly and should be avoided for your childs safety and well being.

The bullying in this school is out of control.The teachers and principle seem as if they are just there to collect a paycheck and they do not care about the children's well-being. I regret moving here and putting my child in this school.When my child tries to report bullying behavior he is ignored.

The principal of this school does not deal with problems well. If anything, she makes them worse.

My child transferred from the local Catholic school to Quid and I am very pleased with the decision. Academically, this school seems to be a bit ahead and the teachers and community are wonderful. Her new friends are great kids and she enjoys to go to school everyday.

Excellent teachers that go above and beyond for their students. The COZ ( child opportunity zone) is excellent providing a wide choice of after school programs and events such as have lunch with your child..Hardworking PTO never fails to make school events amazing and memorable. Many nice families attend the school.
