The Charleston Catholic School is a great school and the absolute best choice for our 4 children! It offers a faith based education and encourages students to think critically and creatively. This school has high standards for academics and I feel our children are very prepared for high school. The faculty and staff work tirelessly to reinforce the values that we, as parents, instill in our children at our homes. Hands down - CCS is the top choice for us!

Charleston Catholic is a wonderful school with enriching programs, fantastic teachers, and co-curricular opportunities that help to develop the whole child. The small class size and family feel help students feel comfortable enough to take risks, try new things, and focus on doing their best work. The faith based approach nurtures the spiritual side of the individual student and builds a sense of community and connection. The academic expectations are rigorous, but supportive. We can't imagine a better place for our kids than CCS. I just wish it went through high school!

CCS offers a faith-based education in an academically rich environment. The teachers care deeply about how they shape and form students' minds and hearts in a way that reflects Jesus' teachings. I am proud to send my daughter there and plan to do the same for my other two children. GOOOO SAINTS!!!

CCS is a gem in the crown of the City of Charleston! As part of the CCS school experience students are integral members of the Charleston community. Participating in service to Charleston as well as partaking in all it has to offer in learning experiences. For a small school, CCS provides a wonderfully rounded education. Students are taught to be responsible citizens and are able to LIVE their faith. Children experience the Arts daily, are challenged academically, and are prepared for their futures in every way.

My grandson has had nothing but a phenomenal experience since joining Charleston Catholic in K-4 three years ago. We feel like we are dropping him off with extended family members every morning. Every teacher and staff member is engaged in the nurturing of every student. Sending him to Charleston Catholic was the best choice we ever made in impacting his life.

Charleston Catholic School has been an amazing school for my children academically and spiritually. I can't say enough about the in depth academics CCS offers, while integrating creative thinking through Art in Science, Math, English and of course their Music and Drama programs. The teachers and leadership have exceeded my expectations and excited to be a part of this extraordinary growing school program.

Charleston is an amazing town, and incredible for families. Beaches, parks, culture, I find there is no town in the country that can match it, especially when you throw the beaches and water access in. The downtown neighbourhoods are very affordable, especially compared to Beacon Hill, Georgetown, Brooklyn etc... Charleston Catholic makes living in town with kids possible!!! We moved here from the. Northeast with 4 children and were desperate to live downtown near the action. Thanks to Charleston Catholic we can. The class sizes are small, the teachers are full of heart and care. The academic regimen is robust, indeed. As Charleston's popularity swells up King Street this school neighbourhood will soon be engulfed by gentrification and I predict enrolment will swell. I'm glad. I got in now.

Don't judge a book by its cover - how true it is for this school. Although the location has scared off some prospective families, this school is a gem and it is safe. It is also very convenient to major streets and highways. The building campaign is in full swing with over $1.5M pledged, a new wing will soon be built. The principal is fantastic. He attracts a good mix of teachers - both young and old. Small class size and the kids all know each other. Excellent Academic, Arts and Music. Majority of kids go on to Bishop England, Academic Magnet, and School of the Arts for High School. It achieves true diversity of ethnic backgrounds, economic situation, and even a fair number of Non-Catholics. Once the new wing is built, I believe there will be waitlists for classes. The challenge is to keep up the quality of the staff as teachers depart for advanced degrees or other opportunities.

After being denied access to our county school which became a magnet (2 blocks from our home) we looked at Charleston Catholic - We are thrilled at the education that our son is receiving - the teachers are absolutely wonderfull and We Love It!! My son is in a class with 11 kids and 2 teachers ! He is K4 but when I pick him up at school it just amazes me when the older kids will stop and say hello to my son and I by name - the entire school has just such a great sense of family and belonging.
