They don’t care about the students. All they care about is their already ruined reputation. They are willing to expel anyone to keep it good…

Christ Centered. Other negative reviews do not fit my experience at all. There is no a perfect school anywhere, and this one is worth a good look if you are interested in preparing your student for college, and engaging them in Catholic Education.

I had a student graduate from this school in 2022 and 2024. Both did very well and had an unbeatable Catholic Education. There is NO perfect school but this one hit the mark for both of my boys. Each needed different academic programming and we always got a great response from the teachers, counselors and admin. Great athletic programming, Arts are top notch, academics are TRULY College Prep. Students graduate from CN with a real seance of what it takes at the college level.

The Omnicron variant exists at CNHS & is swept under the rug. Football and other athletes don't have to work like other students. Many students should be in remedial reading programs, but they are mixed in with the College Prep classes. There is no book room. Students have to buy books that are essential novels of the curriculum. There are no back- up textbooks for students' computer problems. Most of the teachers only have a Bachelor's degree, including the assistant principal. She also will lie in order to cut the budget when they have hired a teacher who requires a higher salary. The new principal hides in her office. The student girls wear skirts up to their tushies. Many of the Honor students are respectful and good students; this is one saving grace.

There are issues as with any school but we have had a positive experience and our three children are thriving there.

I’ve sent my son to this school for 4 years and it was the biggest mistake of my life. This school is awful, the principal is awful, the racism is awful, the coaches are awful, the academics at the school are awful. The teachers are awful and the worst part about is that you have to pay for it. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone in the area. They have less and less attendance records from student each year ,because the school is awful and the feeder schools for it try to feed students into. These feed schools try to send there students there after and the parents soon learn how bad the school is.

Fostered an appreciation for academics, self discipline, and the Catholic faith. Cardinal Newman is a warm, welcoming Catholic school community. Cardinal Newman has instilled solid Catholic values.

Past alumni with a sibling still at the school. Since graduating a few years ago, half of the teachers have left (the good ones), disciplinary actions have decreased (helloooo bullying), and education is gone out the window (thanks to the "fabulous" iPads). Nice new building sure, but don't be fooled by exterior views, this "school" has becoming a daycare. If you value education, try somewhere else.

The general culture of the school is "pay for A's". If you want your child to actually learn the material, choose a different school.

I am a CNHS graduate (class of 1982). MOST of my teachers were great. Yes, there were a few exceptions but overall the standard was high.

My child has had a tough time with this school due to the lack of true teachers. The facilities are falling apart and the restrooms along with the boys locker rooms are atrocious. The administration promotes the school to be something that it just can not be due to the fact that it will not spend money, and are accepting kids that should not be at the school in the first place. I pulled my kid out of there after just 2 years.

we have been very pleased with CN. The school is old and the new campus will offer even more opportunities. We have had one child graduate from CN and is a honors student in college. Our second child is in high school there and is very happy .

Facilities showing their age, but Academics are superb. My child has been there for a few years now and is performing quite well. Teachers are excellent and they maintain high standards. A significant amount of homework and quality test performance is expected for all students and discipline is closely enforced. My child is in a number of AP courses and those classes are far more demanding than what I ever had at that age (and I have master's level engineering education from a major college). There are numerous clubs and sports opportunities available for students at the middle school and HS level, and an encouraging staff of administrators, AD and coaches. While this school doesn't have the resources of a large public HS, it does well with what it does have. Parents are encouraged to be involved with the school's activities. The new HS will be a huge step up and is probably within a year or so of starting construction. I'm pleased with what CNS offers and we wouldn't consider anything else.

Excellent school community. Much is expected of students, and ample support is given to ensure success. I highly recommend Cardinal Newman.
