I have had two children attend and graduate from this school. Our experience has been nothing but positive. The teachers and coaches go above and beyond to make sure their students are successful and leave there with a sense of confidence and readiness to enter college or the work force. I could not have picked a better high school for them to attend.

I moved from New York to Bluffton. I went through the schools, and I absolutely hate it. It's a "Who you know" type of school. The ignorance, and lack of diversity is terrible. As a student, I saw it all. The grossest classrooms or bathrooms-the rudest teachers-rude kids-and an administration that DOES NOT CARE. Every year more teachers quit then I have seen. It really has ruined my student life. Uniforms are not too bad, as a student it's just annoying and hard. The uniforms are not strict at all but when they decide to be strict it throws everyone off. There have been days I went into school and 100 kids would be late for first block because of lousy administration deciding to do their job. NOT WORTH IT.

The school hosted a open house last week. I have never seen more unorganized fiasco. Envision 900 kids in a room trying to get their schedules will no semblance of order. We left after standing in line for 30 minutes(and didn't move. Doesn't speak to highly of the admin staff that organized this event. The school is average at best, only 72% met the English standards and 64% met the math standard in 2013. The school is about 50% minorities. The busing system is mismanaged. Students have to be picked up at ridiculous times before school. For example my child has to catch the bus at 630am and gets to school at 700am (the school is only 1.5 miles away). Oh and school doesn't start until 745am. Try to push your child towards the AP and honor classes. The main-stream classes are NCLB dumbed-down and "teaching to test" is the norm.

I just moved from a small town school and I love it here. The school is much larger which means that it has more teachers and better classes. When I first moved here and found out it had a/b schedule I was a little angry but it turns out that a/b is the greatest thing ever only 4 classes a day and get out at 2:30. This school is great
