According to what I've experienced and seen, kids are rude and mostly bullies, the teachers see it happening and they don't do anything at all, kids fight in the bathrooms and write on the walls

Its a good place if youre prepared for a lot of misbehaving kids. Everyone at this school has at least one class that no one is behaving, they had to make a program to hide the kids that act up to show how bad it is. The arts programs are fun, Im in it and its really nice! The school is also not very clean, the bathroom stalls are always broken and theyre NEVER clean. Theres also always someone smoking in there no matter how hard they try to make them stop.

We enrolled in this school for the Escolores Academic Magnet Program. My childs standardized test scores soared, and his discipline to study for classroom tests also improved. This has been a great experience for our child and family!

This school is not to bad , but people are so rude here and they don't do anything about bullying. The teachers are mostly nice but some of the teachers are just so rude for no reason. Also they have such an issue with using the bathroom, like I am a human I need to go. I felt like such a failure after finishing it this school. But then I went to spring hill and I really like it , the teachers are all very nice and I feel like I am taught way better.

A lot of fighting, but there is respect and a lott of good in this school. There may be rowdy kids but the teachers care and the good kids are absolute gems. It also gives them opportunities to express themselves like sports, band, design, etc. so it has flaws but it is great

This school is a truly terrifying place! Drugs, violence, rampant awful behavior by students happens every single day. Fights happen frequently, students have no respect for each other, their teachers, or the principals. Teachers are trying, but there is such a culture of hostility towards them from the students. This school is utterly out of control! If youre a parent and care about your childs education, this is NOT the place for you!

Homework is not an overwhelming load, but supports the coursework while keeping in mind that kids need a break after a full day of school.

My youngest child is at IMS, and my two older children went there as well. For my family IMS has been a great place for my children to learn and grow, not only academically but socially as well. Great people are at IMS!

1/2 star! Bullying, harassment, TOTAL disrespect for teachers and administration, VERY poorly trained Guidance staff, POOR learning environment !!

Irmo Middle is AWESOME !!! They have really good programs, helpful teachers and staff, and friendly classmates. The curriculum is relly great, as well. This year, they have turned in to a Magnet School, which benefits for the students, as well as the staff. The only thing really upsetting is some of the ghetto people there, who are very rude, and bothering my leaning environment. Other than that, I LOVE this school !!
