SMS is honestly one of the best schools in the county. Everyone is very kind and will help you out with anything. The teachers really make sure that you understand the subject and don't fall behind.

We have a 5th grader at SMS, and have been very pleased with the smooth transition from elementary to middle school. Everyone from the front office staff to the administration to the faculty seem devoted to student learning. Communication has been exceptional, and we feel as if we know what our son is doing in school each day. We also appreciate the warm inviting atmosphere of SMS. Our son loves school and looks forward to going each day. We are thankful to be part of the SMS school community.

Our experience at SMS has been wonderful. We have and 8th grader and a 5th grader. The teachers and staff are dedicated and are usually very quick to respond to calls or emails. Our children love this school and I love that they have a safe environment to learn and grow.

My experience has been great. My son is going into his second year at SMS. I love what comes with a small town like the accessibility to the teachers (and teachers to parents) but we are way behind in areas such as technology.

I taught there from 2000-2003. There was a family atmosphere there. Principal Diane was wonderful.
And for the most part we had good students and wonderful teachers.
I commend Molly Hudgens for what she did today at school 9/29/16. I knew her as very outgoing with love for the staff and students. I am not surprised she saved the school from who knows what. I had very fond memories as I moved from there to Dickson County.
"Sing"cerely,

This school really lags behind every school my children have been to apparently Cheatham mostly cares about social studies just forget the important subjects like math and English they seem to try a little on science at least even metro Davidson county was better Wilson is extremely beyond this outfit in education, organization and the if your not from here you don't matter attitude
